But once he finds out the truth, he will understand why she's so involved with the family and with him, especially, and he'll start falling for her.

Initially he'll probably be angry. I mean he's used to dating modern, educated, shallow, obnoxious girls like Surili. And he's very arrogant right now. But I think slowly Vidya will teach him to be kinder and gentler.
