Divyanka performs Ash song
The sweet Vidya from Banoo Main Teri Dulhan is going to perform on the song Silsila Yeh Chahat Ka (which Aishwarya had done in Devdas) in the serial.
The sweet Vidya from Banoo Main Teri Dulhan is going to perform on the song Silsila Yeh Chahat Ka (which Aishwarya had done in Devdas) in the serial.
Speaking about the song Divyanka says, "The focus of the song is the facial ex-pressions which were very difficult to perform as I'm not a trained dancer. Through the song I am showing my husband Sagar how much I love him straight from my heart. But in the process, I hurt him which is part of the plot. The dance will be telecast this week."
"While doing this dance sequence I was also part Zee's Antakshari, so it was very difficult to manage both the shoots. But in the end, it was my one my finest experiences of dancing. The track of the story goes according to the song", Divyanka adds.
And how does she rank her performance as compared to Aishwarya Rai's in Devdas? "If Ash gets a 10, I should get 8.5," she laughs.
The choreographer of the dance sequence is Arjun, while Ritu Deora has designed a lovely blue lehanga for her.
Director and producer Neelima Bajpai explains the plot for the song, "Vidya has to somehow or the other get a blood sample from her husband Sagar, whose mind has regressed to that of an eight year old's."
Banoo Main Teri Dulhan is the story of a small-town girl Vidya from Varanasi - an illiterate girl who had a fairy tale wedding. It is the journey of Vidya who fights her destiny to make her life and win the love of her in laws. She is married in the rich Thakur family. The timid Vidya finds herself totally helpless when she enters the Thakur household, which is a completely new world to her.
