You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment unless you trust enough. ~Frank Crane
I think the quote applies to Vidya because she trusts easily, hence it allows her to be deceived, and I think she does believe (like the quote says) it is better to be deceived than to live in torment of ot trusting enough. Another quote that is along the same lines as your quote & goes along with Vidya's temperament: It is better to suffer wrong than to do it, and happier to be sometimes cheated than not to trust. ~ Samuel Johnson
Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy. ~Leo Buscaglia
This second quote is hard to determine...but I think it fits more to Maaji (Saagar's Mom) more than anyone else. She is constantly worried aout the future...Saagar, her household, Sameer...what may come...that she is unable to enjoy the joys of today....I think it is what dictates her nature to be so fickle, one day trusting of Vidya, and one day Surili...her worries and her doubts...disable her to focus on the truth of things...
The real measure of your wealth is how much you'd be worth if you lost all your money. ~Author Unknown
This I think serves as an advice to Surili, because she believes that money is the means to everything, and breathes it. I also think that without money or support in her life, she has nothing that she can claim for her own, hence is the most poorest character in all of the show...
I don't think the quote applies to Sindoora, because for her, even though money is important, Control and Power are more important...
Anyways those are my views...Would love to hear yours...
Words have a magical power. They can bring either the greatest happiness or deepest despair; they can transfer knowledge from teacher to student; words enable the orator to sway his audience and dictate its decisions. Words are capable of arousing the strongest emotions and prompting all men's actions. ~Sigmund Freud
