| | | Mad(e) for each other: Faizal and Shikha | Faisal Raza Khan, who plays villain in serials like Paraya Dhan and Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, is in news for a happy reason this time. The actor is in love and has been reportedly dating Shikha Verma, a model by profession.
Says a close friend of Faisal, "Both Faisal and Shikha hail from Delhi. Both took up modelling after college about five years ago. Being in the same profession brought them closer and they became good friends. Soon after, they started dating secretly."
He adds, "Two years ago, Faisal shifted to Mumbai and joined the TV industry. Taking a cue from him, Shikha too moved to Mumbai soon after. Initially Shikha stayed with Faisal at his rented flat in Lokhandwala for two months but later shifted to her own flat in Oshiwara. Although Faisal has his own flat in Royal Palms now, he is trying to rent a flat in Oshiwara so that he can stay closer to his girlfriend."
Says another friend, "They make sure to go for dinners and parties together. Recently, Faisal did not turn up for the Valentine's Day party at Enigma just because Shikha was in Delhi. Whenever they have time, they travel together to various places. They celebrated their New Year in Goa this time. Whenever they go home, they make it a point to visit each other's houses in Delhi. Since Shikha is in Delhi now, Faisal keeps chatting to her on the Internet. They are madly in love for sure."
Faisal says, "We are very good friends." On being probed further, he admits, "We have known each other for years now. She is my best friend in Mumbai. I can't imagine life without her."
So is marriage on the cards? "As they say, marriages are made in heaven. We are yet to get a foothold in our respective careers. So, I can't say what future has in store for us," he adds.
