Sleeping around…
Recently, the cast of …Dulhan shot a sequence over four hours only to discover that the person who was supposed to roll the camera had been asleep all through!

The cast and crew of Banoo Mein Teri Dulhann faced a big goof-up recently, all thanks to sleepless nights. Faisal Razzaq Khan, who plays Kartik in the serial, recalls, "A party sequence was being done and we were shooting four nights at a stretch. It was the fourth day of our shoot and we were doing one of the most crucial scenes in the serial. We shot for four hours to get that scene right. But at the end of the shot, we discovered that the person who was supposed to roll the camera was fast asleep! We were really irritated as all our efforts were wasted."
Faisal adds, "We had no choice but to re-shoot the entire sequence. But by the time, I was so sleepy that I kept blundering. I play a lecherous character. In the scene I was supposed to stare at a beautiful girl while sipping a drink. But, I felt so sleepy that that while staring at her I nodded off and the drink fell on her! Somehow we completed shooting by dawn."
Faisal's co-star Kamya Punjabi (who plays Sindoora) says, "It was a difficult time. We were working day and night without rest. To add to our woes, the person forgot to roll the camera. It was annoying, but we had no option but to shoot again."
Since both Faisal and Kamya are doing other serials too, after completing their gruelling shot, they had to proceed to another shoot. "Shooting for multiple nights left most of the crew members tired. Kamya and I had to rush to shoot for our other serials. As a result, it was shooting 24/7 for both of us," he says.
Did the person responsible for the delay get sacked? "I know it was a big mistake. But, at the end of the day, we all are human and even he was tired. We all were annoyed but we did understand his problem. So, no he was rebuked, but not sacked," Faisal replies.
