Shallu's mother comes to wake her up and tells her the next day is Karva Chauth and finally Vidya will be kicked out of the home, as she will have to keep a vrath for Harsh and an not Sagar, and once she breaks her fast by having water from Harsh's hand, then the rest of the family will kick her out and Shallu can marry Sagar. Vidya and her mother are talking and Vidya tells her mother that she will only keep her fast for Sagar and not for anyone else.
They show everyone on the dining table the next day morning where Sundara and the two sisters make fun of Vidya by passing comments on why she is keeping a fast for a mad man who doesn't even understand the meaning of Karva Chauth. Harsh comes in and looking at Vidya he says in a very taunting and a suggestive manner, that you need not be married for keeping this fast as anyone who considers herself married to a man can also keep the fast, thereby hinting at her that you better keep your fast for me and not for Sagar. Chandra tells Sundara what kind of a joke is this where we are trying to separate both of them and you are telling her to keep the fast, and Sundara says I want to see who's fast and prays has more strength, Vidya's or her prays…They show Shallu and her mum, she tells her mum I have also kept a fast, when the mother asks her for who have you kept it, she dreams of Harsh and Sagar and while picking up an apple, she tells her mum you are great at lying and you can lie to everyone that I have kept a fast for Sagar. Just then Sagar comes in and Sagar's mother tells him that Vidya has kept her fast for him, because this fast is kept by married women and Sagar tells his mother you are not keeping a fast because papa is not there. The next scene they show Sagar going to Sundara and saying Vidya has kept a fast for me and no one else has ever done that for me, isn't she nice. To which Sundara convinces him to keep a fast for Vidya as well as one should never take anyone's obligation. Sagar's mother comes in to give him medicine and he refuses to have it as he keeps on insisting that he won't have anything today. His mother tells Sundara, why you don't try convincing him to take his medicine, to which Sundara refutes by saying she wouldn't like to interfere between the husband and wife.
Vidya's mother in law comes and gives her a sari to wear for the karva Chauth and then comes Harsh who insists that she should wear the sari he has given to her otherwise threatens her of dire consequences. While talking to Vidya, Harsh receives a call and at moment Vidya escapes from there. Chandra comes in and picks up the sari that Harsh insisted on Vidya wearing. Next they show everyone is getting ready for the evening function where Sagar is dancing and playing around with Kartik, Shallu comes to Vidhu and and Harsh and tells them she has kept a fast. Just then Chandra comes and asks her for whom have you kept a fast. All of a sudden Sagar faints and everyone goes rushing towards him. He looks semi conscious and they try to wake him up. They splash some water on his face and his mother urges him to drink some milk, when Vidya asks him to take a sip, he tells her I am not going to eat till you don't eat, since you are keeping this fast for me, I am also going to do the same for you. He becomes unconscious and his mother's tells him to go and call the doctor. Sundara says calling the doctor is of no use as he needs to take his medicine, however he can't take his medicine on an empty stomach and he won't eat anything unless she doesn't eat. Sundara further adds that since the moon is not yet, Vidya won't be able to eat and that's going to be detrimental for Sagar as he can't stay without his medicine for long. Sundara says that Vidya has to break her fast before the moon is out, to which Vidya objects and says it's bad luck, Sundara replies for whom you have kept this fast if he's not there anymore what's the use of this fast. So you decide whether you are going to break your fast right now or not. The serial ends here…
