As rinajatin rightly mentioned, pun stands for "punjabi", but I would like to clear some misconception over here. Just as marwadi/ gujrati/ maharashtrian/ south indian are hindus, so are punjabis. I think what she wanted to say is that vedika is sikh, not a hindu. Sikh is different from just punjabi, I hope you know there are punjabis who are hindus and they are referred to as mona punjabi.

I am just giving some clarification, nothing wrong with that I suppose. 😊
