Yupp, Gina is on a good mood today 😆 Here is part 5, I hope you like it !
Sagars parents and Vidyas parents were sitting in the livingroom and watched from far how both Sagar and Vidya were talking and laughing. It reminded them of the good old days.
-Isn't it great seeing the both of them together again? It reminds me of when they were young and how they always used to play, Sagars dad said.
-Yes it is, I can't believe how quickly both of them have grown up. Soon they will be leaving their homes and out living their own lives, Vidyas dad said.
- I wish I could just hold this moment forever, but I guess we have to let go of them someday, Sagars mom said.
- That worries me a lot. I want Sagar to have a a good settled life, but as long as that Surili is with him, he can't have a good life... Sagars dad said
- Raghav, don't worry. Sagar will come to his senses. After all he's only 22 and young, he doesn't really know what he's doing right now, Vidyas dad said.
- Well you got nothing to worry about my friend, Vidya is truly a wonderful girl and a lovely daughter, Sagars dad responded.
- Yes, we are very proud of her. But what worries us is that someday she will be leaving us and become someones wife and bahu. We have to make sure that she goes to a good family and that they treat her right. Nowadays it's hard to find honest, goodhearted people. All people think about today is money and wealth, Vidyas dad said.
All of them sat and thought for a minute. Then they heard Sagar and Vidya laughing. They looked at both of them and smiled.
- I wish I could just hold this moment forever, Vidyas dad said once again.
- Maybe it can, Vidyas mom said and smiled.
- What are you suggesting? Sagars mom asked
- Look we all are worried about both Sagar and Vidyas future and want their lives to be settled. Then why not settle them together? Vidyas mom said.
- Liken bhahbi are you sure? Because Sagar doesn't deserve a girl like a Vidya, Sagars dad said
- Yeh aap kya keh rahe hai? Sagar is like our son, we love him and I'm sure that the two of them would stay very happy with each other. And if you would take Vidya as your daughter, then me and Jaidev would feel very relieved and happy to know that she's with you all, Vidyas mom said.
Both Sagars parents smiled. But Vidyas dad was quiet.
-Jaidev, meri yaar, what do you think? I know that both me and Uma would be thrilled to have Vidya as our bahu, she is already like our daughter. But if you don't want to, then it's ok .. Sagars dad said and was anxious to hear Jaidevs answer.
Jaidev was quiet and gave a stern look. Then he finally broke his silence and said to Vidyas mom: Won't you go and bring some meethae and sweets to celebrate our daughters marriage is fixed?
Vidyas mom got tears in her eyes and Sagars parents were exatic of joy. Raghav hugged Jaidev, and Uma hugged Vidyas mom.
-Then it's settled, in two months when both of them graduate, they will get married, Sagars dad said.
-Good, I will tell Vidya today, Vidyas dad said.
-But listen, if Vidya doesn't want to, then it's perfectly fine. Promise me that you won't force her, Sagars dad said
-Raghav, has Vidya ever said no to me? Now don't worry, she'll agree to it, Vidyas dad responded
-No, please. If she says no, then it means no, Sagars dad said.
-Theek hai mera dost, and same goes for Sagar, Vidyas dad said.
-Don't you worry about Sagar, I have already a plan figured out for him...
After a couple of hours, after they all had eaten dinner and had tea at Jaidevs house, Sagar and his parents went home. Both Sagars parents and Vidyas parents were exited to tell their children about their decision. Sagars dad had already made up a plan.
At night, before going to bed, Raghav and Uma called Sagar to the livingroom for a conversation. Sagar went down and thought the conversation had something with his graduation present to do. He was happy.
-Sagar beta, sit down, we have something important to discuss with you, Raghav said
-Oh sure, so tell me, what's going on? Sagar said
-We have a rishta for you, Raghav said.
-W,Ww,What? Sagar said and was completely shocked.
-Yes, it's a very nice girl at your age. She comes from a very good family and you even know her...Raghav said
-Wait, what are you talking about? You know that I am with Surili, Sagar said.
-Beta, what you have with surili is a relationship, not love. She is not good for you, Uma said.
-Stop it, I know the two of you don't like her but it's because you don't know her... Sagar tried to say but Uma interrupted him:
-Oh we know her better than you do. You are blinded of her so called love. But the truth is that she only wants you for your money and wealth. She is cheating on you with other men.
-That is not true! Sagar tried to say convincily.
-I saw her with my own eyes, not only me, everyone has seen her. She was in the arms of other men and doing all sorts of things with them, Uma said.
-No, this is not true. I don't believe this, Sagar said and tried to convince himself.
-So you think your own mother would lie? I who have brought you to this life, would lie to you?
-What? No mom but...
-Uma, calm down. Okay Sagar if you really think Surili is the one for you, then you have to prove it, by a small test, Raghav said.
-What kind of test? Sagar asked.
-I will tell you about it in a minute, but you have to promise me that if Surili passes the test, then we will let you make your own choice and if you want to be with Surili, then that's fine. However, if Surili fails the test and proves to be what we all think, then you will have to listen to what me and your mother have to say and agree for a marriage with whom ever we choose for you, Raghav said with a determined voice.
-But...
-What happened, are you scared that Surili will fail? Raghav asked
-No. I trust her, Sagar said quickly.
-Then fine, tomorrow we will see. Do you agree on our agreemet? Raghav asked.
-Yes..., Sagar said and was scared about the following day.
