Part 4:

They reached Jaidev's house. Ding dong went the bell. A servant opened it. Sagar and his parents went inside. The servant told them to be seated and said that sir and madam(Jaidev and his wife) will come down soon. While waiting, Sagar's father quickly asked his wife when Chinu was coming. She said, "He said he'll be here in 20 minutes". As the two were talking, Sagar looked around the house. It was so big, not that his house wasn't. He thought he should go check it out since he always used to play there. "I'll be right back!", he told his parents. First he went to the back yard. It had four swings. Sagar started remembering all the fun times he had when he used to come and play at Jaidev uncle's house. He turned around and saw some light coming out of a doorway. He went closer and slightly peeked inside. He saw a girl.

The girl said,"Where is this Shalu? They'll be coming soon and the food isn't even ready. Shalu, where are you" as she was mixing something in a pot.

Just then, outside the kitchen, someone tapped Sagar on the shoulder. He quickly looked back and saw another girl. She said," Excuse me but who are you?".

S: I'm Sagar.....Sagar Pratap Singh.

Sh: Oh my God, you guys already came. I better tell di.

S: Wait wait wait....who are you?

Sh: Me, sorry, forgot to give my introduction. I am Shalu, Shalu Jaidev Singh.

S: So you're Shalu.

Sh: Yep, that's me.

S: So...---gets cut off by Shalu.

Sh: Look, I have to go or else Di will kill me.

S: But wait----but Shalu was gone by then.

Sagar, who was confused about the girl he saw in the kitchen, returned back to the living room where his parents were. He sat down. Soon, Vidya and Shalu's parents came.

VD: Areh mere yaar. (Hey my friend) How are you?----Vidya dad said to Sagar's dad.

SD: Fine, how about you?

VD: Yaar, I'm just happy to see you again.

VD: Sagar puttar, kaise ho? (Son, how are you?)----he said to Sagar.

S: Fine uncle----Sagar replied as he took blessings from him.

VD: Jeete raho. (May you live long)

As the two familes were talking, one girl came into the living room. Sagar looked at her and saw Shalu. Shalu went to his parents and took their blessings.

SM: Areh Shalu, where's your sister?

Sh: Di just finished preparing the food. She's getting ready. She'll be down in a sec.

SM: Savitri (Vidya's mom), let's go see Vidya, I wanted to talk to her about something.

VM: Okay.

Sagar followed them because he wanted to apologise to Vidya about the incident at the party. The two women went to Vidya's bedroom and were about to enter when Vidya opened the door.

V: Namaste aunty.----Vidya said to Sagar's mom as she took her blessings.

SM: Beta, I wanted to apologise to you about what happened at the party with Surili.

V: It's alright aunty.

They were talking when Sagar's dad called his wife down.

SM: Let's go.

V: You can go aunty, I'll be down in a moment.

SM: Ok.

Vidya quickly went back into her room because she had forgotten her dupatta (veil). Sagar went to Vidya's room. He knocked on it. Vidya turned back. Sagar froze. He looked at Vidya. V: Hellooooooo! Earth to Sagar! Earth to Sagar!

S: Huh...oh...hi!

V: Hi, what happened? You looked surprised.

S: Nothing. Just like that. I wanted to apolo----he got cut off by Shalu.

Sh: Hellooooooo.....come on you guys...let's go downstairs.

S: But I wanted to tell Vidya something.

Sh: Tell her later. Let's go!

Shalu quickly came down the stairs while SV were walking at a slower pace. As they were coming down, their parents started looking at them. They looked so cute, just like a perfect jodi. They both came down and Vidya took Sagar's father's blessings. Everyone started talking including Sagar and Vidya.

S: Vidya, I wanted to apologise about what happened at the party.

V: It's fine. She was just mistaken about us.

S: But still...

V: Listen, it's really okay. Just forget about it.

S: But she shouldn't have done that.....

V: Areh Sagar, I told you it doesn't matter. And if you don't listen to me, then....I'll...ummmm...tell Aunty on you.

Sagar looked at her, then burst out laughing. Slowly, Vidya also started laughing. Sagar and Vidya's parents noticed how well they were getting around and got an idea.
