Okaaaayyy .. Hmm where should I begin.. I am SOOOOO VEEERRRYYY SORRRYYYY !!! I haven't updated in like 4 months. I know, very very very bad of me. First I had exams. Then graduation. Then I went on vacation 3 times. And lately, I was just lazy LOL. I kinda gave up on this ff BUT gullbadan jee aka Kiran, kept pushing me forward and today she demanded an update. So here it is. An update. It's not that good. But I promise the next update will be very very very special .. it will be an OMG update ..
Anyways here's part 28:
1 months & 2 weeks later
At Priyas house
- Diiii wake up, di wake up. O may God, hurry now!! Madhu marched into Priyas room and almost screamed.
Priya was awake, she was too nervous to sleep. But she didn't want to get out of bed. She had feared this day for the last few weeks. And now it has arrived. The D-day. Oh God.
-Diii seriously wake up, how can you be asleep on the most important day ever? Madhu said and sounded angry now.
-Madhu, please, leave me alone, Priya said with a low voice.
-Awww diiii, are you sad? Madhu said and lift up the blanket from Priya. Priya looked up. She couldn't believe that her little Madhu was getting married today and was leaving her and the family to start her own one.
-Dii, you know that i'll always be here for you, no matter what. And it's not like i'm going anywhere far. Okay please, stop now otherwise i will get sentimental and i can't handle that now, Madhu said with a sad voice.
-Ok sorry meri pyaari si choti behen, Priya said and patted Madhu on her head.
-Seriously dii, hurry! First we have to get ready for graduation and then we're going to the saloon to get us ready for the wedding and...
Another reason Priya feared this day was because today was her last day in college. Last day of school. Last day of her college-friends, teachers and memories. And last day of... Prem.
She sighed heavily and rised up from her bed.
-Okay, let's start, she said to Madhu and gave a forced smile to her sister.
-----------------------------------
-Okay, let's start, Mohit said to his younger brother, Prem.
-Kyun? Prem said with a tired voice
-Kyun ke aaj mera chota bayi graduate karne vala hain, Mohit said to him and smiled.
Prem shrugged and sighed.
-Arre all this happiness, save some for tonight, will you? Mohit said to Prem with a sarcastic tone.
Prem was quiet and just stood there while his brother was tying his tie for him and getting him ready for his graduation, something he did not look forward too. These last few weeks just flew by. Suddenly he was graduating today and his brother was getting married. Marriage. He still remembers that day when they all went to Priyas house to ask Madhus hand for Mohit. Oh boy, he could never forget that day. Prem still remembers what Priyas dad said: "Maine toh Priya ko pehle si bhola tha ke mujhe Prem bahut pasand hai aur un dono ki jodi". But he never understood what Priyas father exactly meant by it. Even though he had tried to ask Priya about it that same day.
*Flashback*
Priya had cleared out the misunderstanding by explaining to her father that Prems family had come to ask Madhus hand in marriage for Mohit. Priyas father apologized to everyone and then the grown-ups started discussing. Priya went into the kitchen. Prem excused himself from the livingroom and followed after Priya.
-Ermm Priya, what did your father mean by what he said? I mean... Hum dono ke jodi? Prem said and tried to sound confused but inside he was happy. Priya had talked about Prem to her father, and his father "approved" of him. So this means only one thing he thought. She loves me. He smiled and waited for her answer. She turned her back. She must be shy, he thought.
-Dekho Prem, please don't get the wrong idea. Woh kya hain nah, just because we're friends, he got the wrong idea and thought i ... Well you know how parents are. Anyways he got the wrong idea, it's just a mistake.
-A mistake...? he said with a low voice and was confused.
-Well of course. Come on, hum dono ki jodi? That's ... not imagineable. In fact a joke, right? she said and lauged a little bit.
-A joke...? he couldn't believe what she was saying.
-Look soon it all will be over. Just like you said. Remember? We'll graduate, go our seperate ways and... But I'm happy I've gotten to know you and that we became friends. She turned around and looked at Prem, face to face. She gave a smile and left.
"Friends", Prem said to himself and sighed. He had gotten his answer.
*End of flashback*
-Okay brother, you're ready now. Let's go! Mohit said to Prem.

-Okay dii, we're ready now, let's go! Madhu said to Priya.
-----------------
3 hours later
-wooooooo, we did it, we did it !!! Hundreds of college-students were running around and screaming out of joy. Within these graduates, Priya was sitting on a bench and thinking. Today she has graduated. She's an official adult now. She had long waited for this day to come, and now when the day has come, she is sad. Sad to leave college. Sad to leave her nest. Sad to leave... Prem.
She looked up and saw her father and little sister standing and hugging a few yards away. Even she has graduated. Everything felt odd for her. As if something is wrong. She closed her eyes to get some sense in her head. After a few seconds, she slowly opened them and saw something that gave her sense. That gave her a safe feeling. She saw Prem.
-Umm hi, he said shyly
She just smiled and looked at him.
-I just wanted to congratulate you and thank you.
She looked confused. Thank me? she thought to herself
-Yeah, I want to thank you. You gave me sense and new perspectives. I'm glad we became friends.
Priya felt tears coming in her eyes, but she stopped them by turning her back and not looking at Prem. She couldn't face him, otherwise she would break down in front of him. She has to hide her feelings, it's over now. After today, it's over, she kept saying this to herself in her mind.
-Umm I'll see you tonight Prem, bye, she said and walked away from there.
-Bye... he said to himself and saw how she just walked, far and far away from him.
