Sharad Malhotra and Divyanka Tripathi are mightily pleased on winning the Best Jodi Award at the ITA. Here they are in action again...

The most loved Jodi on the Small Screen - Sharad Malhotra & Divyanaka Tripathi, walked home with the Award for the Best On-Screen Couple at the 7th Annual ITA Awards held recently. Sharad & Divyanka, with their acting abilities and chemistry, have no doubt, made a place for themselves in viewers' hearts in quick time, but it also looks like it is raining awards for them this year; In addition to the Jodi Award, Sharad won the Best Actor Award in the Critics Category, whileDivyanka won the Best New Face Award. Here is the most loved Jodi sharing their excitement with the Telly Buzz team..

Sharad Malhotra, the mother's boy, says, "I feel happy and elated. All is because of my mother's blessings and this award is dedicated to her."You have always been popular amongst your fans, are you not surprised that you won the Critics' Award, and not in the Popular Category?"This is the same question that all have been asking me since the awards' night happened. But trust me, this has not sunk into me till now. I can only say that I am blessed by one and all", says the humble Sharad. Divyanka Tripathi who has touched many a hearts with her beauty and innocence says, "I have been feeling fabulous, my excitement goes beyond explantion. After winning the two awards, it feels like my work is being recognised.."

The is the second time in a row that Sagar and Vidya have got the Best Jodi Award. An elated Divyanka says, "It feels great that the amount of hard work and energy we put on the sets here, is bring appreciated by everyone.." When quizzed whether Divyanka is his girlfriend in real life too, Sharad quickly says,"Well, I genuinely want to tell all my fans that I am still very much single, and read to mingle. (laughs) We both are thick friends, and this really spills on screen".

Talking about the future twists in the life of Saagar and Vidya, Sharad says, "A message I want to pass on to the ardent viewers of Dulhann is that, the coming 3 months is going to be the best phase of the serial, so watch out for some big drama and twists".
