Vidya's P.O.V
It was strange how the craving i had, just dissapperaed, and i nearly forgot the whole reason i had come here. I starred at Sagar without an expression, one of those moments where you don't blink, just stare. I wondered if he was getting creeped out now, i quickly looked away and scrunched my eyebrows together, in confusion. "What's wrong Manu?" "I don't know, im just really confused. I came here with the cravings for ice cream, and thought maybe you'd like to go too, but now i've really lost my appetite. I think i want to go home now" Sagar put his tea down on the coffee table once i did, and we both got up, "Yeah, sure thing, let me just get my coat, it is a little chilly outside." He walked out of the room and my cell phone rang, i looked at the number it was my mom. I bit my tongue and picked up, "Hey mom" "VIDYA, where are you?!!??" "I went out for icecream and bumped into Sagar, and so im at his house, but i was just about to come now, hes going to drop me off, ill tell you the whole story later ok luv you" i said that really fast, "There's more? okok, come now, its really late, you had me worried"
Sagar came back into the room and picked up his car keys from the counter. We walked out the door and reached his car. He opened the passenger door for me, "You don't have to be so formal you know" i smiled. He looked back with a surprised face, "Oh, i thought you were still recovering, feuw, i could finally cut the gentleman act" he let out a laugh, after i gave him a glare. what a loser. we got into the car and i couldnt help but ask, "What recovery were you talking about?" He looked at me once, "well, the little shock you were just in a few moments ago" "oh, well, thanks by the way, i mean i cant even imagine, what would've happened if you hadn't come,... oh right, why were you outside anyways?" "i heard voices, you were right in front of my house. no one would be out at this time really. Besides, the vidya i once knew, could've probably kicked some ass, but you've changed, i mean really, what happened to your pepper spray?" he let out a laugh, i smiled, "you know the answer to that" We all knew the answer to that question, Awan.
The next morning, i was left bored. Awan was at work, and i didn't even get a chance to talk to him this morning, i wanted to tell him what happened last night. Unexperienced, as i am, i only knew that usually GF and BF, tell each other everything, no matter how insignificant it may be"
lightbulb moment, ill go visit him. i got excited by my idea as i jumped and nearly fell from my bed. I was getting a little hyper nowadays thinking of spending time with Awan. i felt my cheecks burn with the thought of him. gosh what he's done to me, no one will know. I ran to the shower.
Awan worked at the construction site. He dreamed of having his own business and running it . But for now, he had a boss. I reached the construction site and saw the men on the building, but that wasn't where awan was working, he was their boss, the architect. I walked through the rocky ground, seeing all the yellow heads, i picked up one of the hats that was lying down on a piece of wood and wore it to match. But before i put it on i made sure there was no dust and dirt in it. I finally managed to get it on and moved my hair away from my face to see Awan right in front of me. I smiled such a goofy smile, that he claimed to LOVE. "Hey beautiful, what brings you here" I swung my arms around him, "I was craving to see your face" He let out a low laugh as he wrapped his arms around me. I loved it when i was close to hiim, i felt safe and secure. Understanding the circumstances, and considering the environment we were in, i broke the hug leaving a kiss along his cheek. "You know i was jjust thinking of you." "Really? and what were you thinking?" He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and we began walking, "I was thinking of something to do tonight, go somewhere" "Sounds great to me"
"HEY AWAN" a man from the construction site called, awan looked at me apologetically, "Here you sit in my office and wait for me, i will be back i promise" He left me a kiss on my forehead and a deadly smile with a wink. Yup im glad i saw his face, couldn't miss it.
i sat down on his chair, took the heavy yellow helmet and twirled, looking around at the place, until Awan came. wow that was fast. "Let's go" he said. Surprised, i got up, "What? now? why so early?" "My work is done, and i don't want to waste the time i have with you" he reached for my hand, pulling me up off the chair and in for a kiss. And again, what he does to me, no one will ever know😉
