PART 8


At breakfast Vidya found herself hand in hand with Sagar , both eating more than three bowls of cereal. She was a bit depressed at what her mother had said to her that morning after she left the room where Sagar was about her marriage and that she was to meet the person after school that day. After everyone finished their breakfast they headed to their daily work. Vidya and Sagar headed to Sagar's house to get Sagar's college stuff and his own cloths since he was wearing Sahil's and later their college and Sahil and her dad went to office. Anjana and Vidya's mom were the only ones home. Sagar received a look from his mother and father when he entered his house because he was absent from his house the weekend.Sagar quickly went into his room in order to escape from his parents questions.He changed into one of his cloths , grabbed his college stuff digged inside his backpack to find his car keys. He went out from the back door not to be seen by his mother. He was sure his mother had not seen the hand or else she would have killed him for answers.
Sagar faced Vidya as soon as they got out of his house. " Vidya , I heard your mother talking to you about your marriage this morning. Are you sure you want to marry that guy? He uses drugs. Vidya I'm sure your parents don't about him. Vidya I don't want you to go the wrong hands. " Now Vidya was suprised . " How do you know about this person , when I don't even know about him? My parents would not have told you who this man is when they haven't even told me. " Sagar answered her question after a while. " I heard your parents last night while I was trying to get a sandwich. It is the guy named ranveer . You know he was with us in ninth grade and last year. He tried to force himself over you. He got expelled from college last year for almost killing a person. Do you want to go to the hands of a killer? He's a damn rouge." Vidya was a lil suprised at what sagar had said and for her and Sagar's suprise she burst out laughing . " Sagar you are jealous because im getting married."

PART 9


The ride to college was silent. Vidya kept thinking about her marriage and Sagar was thinking about how he will lose Vidya if she marries Ranveer. Finally Vidya broke the silence " Sagar , today i got a call from anmol (her best friend)."she said " She said that there is a party at her house cos her parents are out of town. You know how she behaves when I don't go to those parties and I can't go today. So , Sagar will you go to the party for me? " . Sagar answer was clear " No. Me going without you? That is never happening. Since last year we have been going to all of these parties together. Now when I go alone people will think that we are not together anymore. " The last sentence hit Vidya like physical blow " Sagar remember ,I am getting married in less than 2 weeks or something. We wont be together forever right. Sagar I'm not going to go home after college. " She said with a crystal blue tear in her eye. " What do you mean you won't go to you r house after college? Your parents will think I'm with you when you don't show up. " Sagar said " We will always stay together . I promise you I will get you out of this wedding mess no matter what happens. "He took out his cell and dialed a number. he was talking very soft so Vidya wouldn't hear him.
After Sagar hung up , he looked forward and he saw a truck coming towards them. Vidya was looking at her left side that's why she didn't know the truck was coming. the next thing they know the truck hit their car. The car's glass shattered into a thousand tiny pieces. Sagar opened his eye and looked at Vidya. Vidya was bleeding terribly. He was not beeling so much , only his head was bleeding. He got out of the car as soon as possible. He found his cell phone in bad condition. He had to call an ambulance. Then he saw a car coming. In a minute or so the car reached where Sagar and Vidya were. The gal who looked about Vidya's age inside the car got out. " Sagar , what happened here? " She asked Sagar. " Anmol , we got into an accident . Please help us."

PART 10


After sagar asked for help from anmol she told the guy inside the car, who turned out to be anmol's latest boy friend sanjay, to help sagar get Vidya in the car. Within a few minutes Vidya's head was on sagars lap. Sagars denim jeans were wet with blood. His eyes were in a deep red. He was stroking Vidya's hair gently. Nobody could have understood how he helt at that moment.His head was bleeding and the injury he had got the night before got worse. He could not feel the pain as it would have been if Vidya wasnt hurt. His lips were numb. He was unable to say a word . Anmol was trying to console him by saying words of comfort but sagar could not hear them. He could not hear any sound besides his heart beats , which were very fast at that moment. He looked as though he was in another dimention. The traffic was large when they had reached the highway so sunjay took a short cut tp the hospital.
In a few minute or so they reached the hospital. Vidya was rushed inside the operation theater when they went inside the hospital. And Sagar was taken inside a room to bandage his hand and his head. a word which sounded like " vidaa kaaha - ah - he? " which was meant to be " Vidya kahaa hei? ". His lips were too numb to speak. When the nurse finished bandaging his hand and head he tried to get up from the chair he was sitting on , but was unable to do so. He had no strenght left in him. He tried to stand up again but the same thing happened as the last time. But this time he stood up for a minute or two and fell on the ground. Then everything went black.
