I wonder the same thing about Maayka. There's no "maayka" left, so it doesn't really make sense 😕 Especially now that Durga has accepted Soni and Mahi has a good family to live with.

I think BMTD has come to mean "I will try desperately, pathetically, foolishly hard to be a perfect bride/wife no matter what hideous things you do to me." All wives should strive to be good wives to their husbands BUT it must be reciprocated and Amar isn't making much of an effort.

Exactly. Sure Divya is showing her side of the story by struggling but is Amar making any effort to accept her? It's like Divya is saying :"Banoo Mein Teri Dulahn" and Amar isn't saying :" Hain bangai tum meri Dulhan."

I think it's absurd that Amar should even have to "accept" Divya. He should be on his knees begging for her! She is so much more intelligent, beautiful, compassionate, educated, selfless, kind, and humble than he is. Even Vidya was too good for Sagar. He should be the one struggling for her acceptance!

...not that it matters either way, since as you said, the story is really about Divya defeating Sindoora. Not even Amar and Divya defeating Sindoora...just Divya alone...
