u know... i was really satisfied the way this episode turned out. very very satisfied. and samrat's scenes/exit were fantastic (imho).
i believe that samrat's role is not over yet, and he will still make a huge difference going forward. i thought divya's silence was well placed. she didnt need to say anything, plus it looked like she was still too disgusted by samrat's behaviour ...appropriately so.
but i want samrat to find his real parents soon, i just hope we get to see samrat go to banaras, rather than disappear altogether.

samrat will turn grey at sum point . which point , i dunno . Next to Chandra and Mahua , he knows Sindura's secrets and how she operates .
Im not so hopeful about he changing after meeting his banarsi parents as Samrat , who is so hardened that he harassed a woman carrying his own child ......may in all probability simply con them by taking advantage of their rustic innocence .
tulli , he didnt have any qualms about threatening his own younger brother chintoo with knifing him [ cheer ke rakh doonga.] There was not an iota of connection there .
The only connection he has is with Sindura the way a devil's advocate has with the devil . So i really wonder which point will turn him grey . Perhaps they will just finish him off .
I do feel Divya cud have cleverly used the opprtunity to sow seeds of doubt in Amars mind by feigning innocence , taking Sinduras side and making Samra talk by keeping out of it . That wud have been clever . Offering peace to Sindura at this stage doesnt show the best of her brains .

i have no faith in samrat. he is being set up as the heir to sindoora's reign of terror. and despite pointing the finger at sindoora, i hardly think their teamwork is over yet. it's clear that neither of them love each other or care about the other person, but the do need each other. once sin has outlived her use for samrat, or vice versa, they have no problem squashing each other. that's what happened today. samrat, having nowhere else to turn, threw sin under the bus.

unfortunately divya is just not clever enough to do what you suggested, ks. in fact, i'm starting to think she is every bit as stupid as amar. it's pure luck that she got her memory back, otherwise she would probably be falling at sin's feet too. she always seems to set herself up for failure. everything she does sets up sindoora to start her drama and fake tears over how unfairly she is being treated.

say what you will about sin, but she is a clever woman. seems like both amar and divya each have only half a brain and that's why they need to come together to defeat her.

wait a moment..i am not implying i want him to turn good...i'm just saying he was marvelous and interesting and i'de love to see what kind of stuff he does. his character has ssoooooo many possibilities..u know what i mean? samrat can stay black , turn grey, purple or blue ... whatever... both the character and the actor are strong enough to support it. i think. and yah, he is an evil man, but he is Upadhyay's blood and i wanna see him go to Banaras and do something there...anything... it'll be fun. i just hope they don't get rid of him cause there are so few strong supporting characters on this serial, i wouldnt want to see a good one like Samrat leave.

Reading all the above posts have made me realize how much thInking , analyzing and interpreting goes into our minds as each of us watches /reads the daily episodes. It is no doubt a huge compliment to BMTD and a bigger proof of the craziness of its fan following.

But just one thought came to my mind..... We are all busy writing what should have been or not. How should Divz have reacted or Amar have said/done.
We even call poor Amar/ Divz brainless or 1/.2 brained etc..
But the bottom line is they are only doing their part.. if anybody's brain needs to be rewired or hit with a danda its the storywriter/ creative team who BADLY needs it.
Lets bash them infact if I could I would kick their collective butts!!
Par friends umeed par duniya kayam hai to is kahani ke bhi achhe din aayenge very very soon... so jus chill.

👏👏 soooooo true. i truly believe that divya is silly. just that she talks alot but doesn't do much which i dont really find very interesting at all!

Wait a second, only Koolsadhu thought that Divya should have played around using reverse pyschology. I agree it is a very good idea but did it come in any of our heads that Divya could have taken this route? No. But does that make us dumb or silly? Hmmm...!
Though what KS suggested was a bright idea, it was something extra that could have been done but it was NOT detrimental to whatever happened in the scene 😊

well in all fairness, we weren't hired for the job of writing this serial. it's not our responsibility, nor is it necessarily our background or training to write out the story. so it doesn't make us "dumb" not to have considered it.

but if the creatives are smart enough to make sindoora so clever, then they can do the same to divya and amar. they simply choose not to. i think koolsadhu is right in a sense. not just in this specific scene, but all scenes, divya is always shown to stand silently and miss all kinds of opportunities. either that or she speaks up at the wrong place at the wrong time and sets herself up for disaster. she is never shown to think on her feet, or use that lawyer brain of hers to come up with a clever or innovative solution. yet sindoora is CONSTANTLY employing all kinds of clever methods...often right on the spot. why should the villain always be so intelligent and quick to act? if the hero/heroine and villain are not equally matched in skill, what's the point?

the reverse psychology method koolsadhu mentioned is exactly the kind of ploy sindoora would use. it's not beyond the creatives' imagination. they are simply applying the idea to the wrong character. in fact i don't even mind sindoora being so clever, i just wish amar and divya would give her a run for her money.

Rainabow....
i agree . i too , lost hope in Samrat turning grey .....when he put a pregnant woman carrying his own child thru that and threatening his own brother .....a kid , ....who he met after many years with knifing him.He resembled Sindura then ....who doesnt care about her sisters either , or her husband , or her son , except her own sick goals . Totally self centred .and beyond all relationships . I did have hopes for him as his hand had wavered while shooting Divya , and when he stabbed Rajeev , i cud still understand as Rajeev had exchanged the babies to save his own blood and hadnt really given a thought as to what wud happen to the other baby if Sindura killed it ......and so Samrat's anger did have sum base and even Rajeev didnt hold the stabbing against him as he understood it . Wrong as it was of course . But now , i feel , Samrat is beyond hope . As u said his lashing out at Sindura is only as currently he has lost everything and has nothing more to lose . But i wont be surprised if she buys him back with money when the chance arises and she needs him .
I find Divya a very very inadequate opponent , not really upto Sindura's standard at all . Sindura never loses an opprtunity and uses the most mundane one to the best of her advantage or to turn the tide in her favour . She is the reason the serial is interesting as the lead hero heroines very obviously only have good looks and nothing else . Neither sharp wit nor brains ...not with the villains nor within their own interpersonal relationships . Even the way Divya talks , it lacks force and the tang of an opponent out to slaughter . If Sindura fights to win and is all set to even kill , Divya;s feeble attempts dont come close to even self defence .

But I don't even find Sindoora's ploys clever either. Its just that the others are shown to be so stupid that she looks like a great villain. Which she really isn't! Not anymore anyway...! You're right, that the others look stupid compared to her but Sindoora bhi koi khet ki muli nahin hai. I think I gave the wrong misaal 😛
BTW I wasn't calling us 'dumb' but in todays situation I don't think Divya acted silly by not saying anything because if we were in her situation, that thought might not have entered our head either.
KS, vamps are there to make the show interesting. They add the spice...its a given! But there is a limit to how much we take from them. If there is too much then the person who makes the show spicy will end up causing boredom. And this show is the biggest proof of that happening...!
