Thank goodness I thought it was just me. I justed wanted it to be over, this lawyer is no Perry Mason or Jack McCall from Law & Order. CV were just doing too much with his character in one episode. I couldn't figure out was he a no nonsense lawyer whose down to earth when he's with the secretary or a detective. Gosh and don't get me started on the fashion and the bad acting by those guest stars.
The one thing I did like was the actor who play's the police officer and that's not saying much.
OMG! Law and Order is my favorite show and Jack McCoy my most favorite lawyer/DA, I don't get tired of even watching the reruns, it is so good, can't even think of comparing Jack with KD......I was expecting no Law and Order since Indian shows do not do as much research or show the whole process as realistically, its mostly about drama here but even the drama needs to be interesting. Its not just you, I sat through it with great difficulty too and that was only because it was RR's show, I guess I felt some sort of loyalty, had it been any other actor, I would have switched channels after the first 5-10 mins but even loyalty can go only so far, can't sit through it week after week if it does not improve.
Some of the things in the show made no sense....I don't have much idea how the Indian courts operate but it was so weird that the defense lawyer and the public prosecutor were cutting each other off without letting the other complete their arguments and starting off with their own arguments, is that how it really works? there was no decorum, it seemed like complete chaos, like a fight between two people rather than a court trial.....and the defense lawyer is asking an autograph from the witness while she is giving her testimony on the stand and the prosecutor doesn't object and the judge watches without putting a stop to it? I mean seriously, it made the whole trial seem like such a big joke.
