Fuzzy you were spot on with your comments but the equal blame lies on both the sides - DM's as well as Santu. DM's side cos he gave in to Khemi and did not visit Santu and Santu for completely shunning DM in jail and telling him all the hideous things when he was in jail to visit her. Agreed DM did not do much to get Santu out of jail all those years but he was then bound by stupid vachan he gave Khemi for maintaining the family - he did not want Khemi to abort the child. Also DM kept himself away from his family for past 10 yrs knowingly cos he knew in his heart that Santu did not commit the crime it was someone in his own family that commited the crime. Also Santu on her part wasn't able to communicate to her husband on who commited the crime because she was bound by motherhood it was here where DM and Santu were at fault DM due to Khemi and Santu due to her motherhood. Yes we can say that Santu is younger but she had entered into the relationship with DM knowingly and she knew what lay in front of her and always knew that Subhi came first and she accepted that and still to date respects the fact. In relationship we wouldn't look at age much but rather at other dynamics - who holds the key, who is more influential - it was always Santu who holded the key to DM's heart and she is more influential DM believes her more than anything else even today same is true he believes her more than anybody, infact it is due to her he realises some of his most crucial mistakes. The confrontation when it happens now will show DM's true feelings which weren't revealed to us pre -leap and they will build stronger relationship. lets see what CVs show us ...sometimes in realtionship its not about telling the four lettered word repeatedly rather it is about small actions that matter and DM was always there for Santu and he fought for her and in his own way demonstrated his feelings for her

yeah doc I think santu's heart is also broken because of that fact too
the fact he didn't even look back @ her not once after all the time she ran back into his arm despite all the meanness and vile things he n his family put her through.
She also disappointed he let the children fend for themselves without any moral guidance.
I think she does blame herself too for hiten, kaddu, toral, maulik, birwa n suraj's conditions. but at least she is trying now to set things right and DM is just being impossible

Men are contrary creatures Fuzz. If you let them get away with things, they will just walk all over you. Santu just wore her heart on her sleeve and was his adoring slave all the while in the preleap. She worshipped the ground he walked on and always jumped before he said "J". I mean he just went on to assume that he is God's gift to Santu and went on the walk all over her.

He always supported Moti regardless of whatever has happened but with Santu i think he expected much more from their relationship.. and his general expectations of her was higher than any other member.. she was special to him but he felt cheated and let down..
He wronged so many times but when it came to finally being a couple she was the one who chose Jail and not him..
