That is sooo true Bumi. I felt similarly when I watch parts that although Santu loves DM unconditionally there is still that spark that is missing which is down to the lack of trust.. I agree with her waiting to be thrown out but I really hope this time she takes a stand and doesn't come running back when he clicks his fingers.Originally posted by: bumtrinket
Thats another thing that struck me as I watched this epi. Maybe it's because I was watching after a very long time or something, but I suddenly realized that while Santu is very sure of her Malik being a good and just person and all that, she doesn't actually trust him. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she's still waiting for him to get angry and throw her out no matter what he says. And for that DM has no one but himself to thank because you can't just say "oh, the past is over, fresh beginning" and start off.
Trust has to be earned and while DM is making major efforts these days, it's going to take a while before Santu knows he's got her back. I always remember how Santu went straight to her Nana and told him about Khemi and Hiten even though she didnt know if he could take it - because she trusted him to be on her side no matter what. She doesnt feel that way about DM clearly.
