Maulik will blurt out to Kanji that he is his son. Taru and Kanji will confront eachother and finally why Kanji did not turn up will be revealed. DM will come to know of this perhaps through Virat and he will grieve the loss of his son and the fact that Motiben and wife Subhadhra hid this from him. The culprit for theft of the diamonds will be found. He will be somebody quite unexpected.Dm's enthusiasm towards Santu and Hiten's marriage will dampen.Motiben's enthusiasm will dwindle too but she will find solace in the fact she has her own family.Archan will feel cold towards Khemi.
Then a major shift will take place and all the characters will reallign themselves for new relationships and new equations. Santu's nature may change as she matures. Motiben will mellow and Santu may become arrogant. As she realises she won't be having children and DM's children are becoming independent and Dm is getting older whereas she is still in the prime of her life she will become harder
