That is true. May be his love for her will be evident in the future episodes. I all elated to see sanraj together.

yesterday's episode was kinda weird. First, it was like DM was wanting to win the bet. what would he have to do? Stop Santu from leaving the house. Secondly, by recollecting all those scenes with her, it was like, ok now I am going to stop Santu and it is a good bargain in the making. No offense but that is how I felt after yesterday.
I am huge Sanraj fan but at the same time I want them to be together for all the right reasons.

beautifully put. suma, i think you're right but so are the others. he was thinking of the happiness of his family and that of hers, deciding that he can give her the happiness she deserves.. which is consistent with what he has said about caring for her/wanting the best for her.

so, we have achieved a mini victory in that he cares for her. However, (VOICE OF DOOM kicking in) when he goes to subhadra's portrait he says that he's happy because santu's happy AND her happiness makes baa, suraj, birwa etc happy. (god that was long to write). he has these moments of attraction and weird memories of his time with santu and you get the feeling he's being like 'she's not so bad' and everyone in my house is going to be pissed at me if she goes'. if his family hadn't have accepted her and kicked up a fuss then NO WAY IN KANSAS would he have stopped her. those feelings for her don't exist yet.

He does not love santu, and i for one don't want him to yet. when DM does something, he does it wholeheartedly and when he's actually going to be in love with her, we will get a tour de force of emotions from the guy that he won't be able to restrain from expressing. that's the joy of his character. that kind of love is going to come once they do things as a couple, spend time enjoying each others company and tackle life's big hurdles together... you know guys, the way real love is built! now THAT i am going to enjoy watching... i think the real love story is about to begin.šŸ˜‰

True Sumi, it is going to be a blast and think it will be really good to see them discover each other in the process. Oh gosh when I say Sumi, I feel I am calling myself because lot of my friends call me by that name as well.

Uma,

What more do we want

Let me try answering that.

Not long ago,DM made a stylish, convincing statement that she deserves a good life,a young husband, and all happiness that she rightly deserves. Today,he stopped her from leaving.Meaning,he has somehow realized that her happiness lies with him and the house. He too,in some dark corner of his heart, has started loving her.He defends her to MB.

Now,if he thinks she will be content and happy with his relatives around, and then patni's adhikar, and then some thing else that he mentioned--doesnt he believe that he should also let atleast 1/4th of his feelings known to her? How fair is it to her to keep her in the dark abt his feelings. How fair is to secretly admire her long hair, and then not mention a word of love to her.

Now,You would defend that he is slowely getting there... But if he was,why again go to the stupid portrait and say all that he did.Is he going to get married, then well..ahem.. do it with santu, and then again go to the portrait and ask her
"Did you feel bad,Subadra?"

Sorry for being so rude, but all this romance cannot cover the fact that he is a coward.

Suma,The poor guy is relieved for once.

He got what he wanted in the pretext of fulfilling Hiten's "shart".

He had a temporary attack of amnesia.

yaar, rp i don't think anyone can seriously say he loves her.
some feelings do exist - again difficult to interpret with his weird portrait worshipping going on - but he would have been in mental agony and unable to stand it when she was leaving if that were the case
.....(you guys remember how stressed and worked up he got about hiten/diamond breaking and how wound up he gets about his work? - nothing of the sort here).

and i think he knew that if she were given the choice (and shown by what she said after) her happiness lay in NOT leaving the house. bloody hell, even she didn't admit she wanted to stay to be with him - she kept mentioning 'the people of this house' never him explicitly!!

He definitely has some love like feelings..he is definitely,101% physically attracted to her.He does want her happiness. He misses her when she is not around. He cannot put those feelings together, and confess it to her, like a man.

The portrait issue.Thats explained by Pavlov's theory. It kicks in when he starts looking at santu with desire, and happiness.

OK,Only fair.

She did tell him that she cannot forget him,and that she will never forget the way he straightens her bindi, making tea for him etc etc..What can she do if he is so dense?? If that is not enough, didnt he see her gushing today.Didnt he listen to her saying how she would put the bindi wrong way,how she would mend his clothes, how she would make tea..Woww..Poor girl, what does she have to do,to make him understand that she loves him!!

He is the experienced one,he is the one who should help her face it with him.Instead what does he do-

"Did you feel bad, subadra" and that alien look on the portrait's face. Its getting sooo irritating now.
