Words and Tears

Sorry guys, i'm having trouble with my gujarati what are the words he says when he's handing her the payal - is he saying i'm not the malkin so i'm not going to wear them? why does their music start playing -that's not very romantic!
Oh and for what it's worth i don't think he was crying for santu, he was emotional from before because of what hiten said and what she said about his kids - i just don't see him crying after her yet... he's ot a little way left to go before that stage i think.

I would like to believe that he is crying at the thought of losing Santu😭 He knows in his heart that he cares and loves this young girl in his own way, but it has not reached his brain yet He will come around soon enough as witnessed today by the kurta change and his willingness to put up with Santu's sari change and the payal gifting.

dipshit , I think he was crying becoz of what she said and for her , becoz he knows she becomes so important for him and he will miss her presence in his life after divorcing her , I'm 100 ./. sure DM's tears were for santu

I would like to think that he was crying for her words that "nobody would ever remember her after she leaves". DM would be definitely thinking that "arrey dafford tujhey bhooley tho yaad karenge ney" 😍

DM is just overwhelmed with everything that is happening divorce, son calling father bluff and daughter boy trouble and he has no one to lean to.

When he hands her the payal she says that these are maalkin's and he says that 'of course they are maalkin's, I do not wear payal now, do I?

I also think he was not crying for Santu. He is not at that point yet. I think it was his frustration with Hiten and not being able to get through to him emotionally as a father. We have seen right from the beginning that Hiten has a special place in his heart. Being the first born, DM must be having his own dreams about Hiten. Added to that was what Santu said and the realization that because of how things stand between him and Hiten, this girl is making a sacrifice and how her life is being affected.

All in all, I interpreted them as being tears of frustration and helplessness. What place Santu really has in his life is going to hit him at a later time.

DM giving her payal and chsnging his kurta without any probs that he does have some feelings for her...but of course not love yet....but some strong feelings....and he is also very much touched and moved by her words......nobody will ever remember me in this ghar...........

DM's heart def feels some love for Santu but it has not communicated with his brain yet. When they both meet, then we will have real romance😃

This may sound really bad but if someone has truly loved another person, with their whole heart and dedicated their life to them, even if that person goes will they ever be truly able to love like that again? Will DM ever truly love Santo in the way he loved Subhadra or will it be more of she's here, might as well put up with it?

I have a way to test DM's feelings for Santo - what if someone mentions that after Chuta Chedha Santo will need to marry again? Even if his head isn't talking to his heart that would certainly get him all kinds of mad!

Yes, that would be the real test! He may not love her like he loved Subhi, but his heart is capable of loving Santu for herself. She is wonderful, kind-hearted, unselfish, girl who has everyone's best interests at heart. She brings his whole disintegrated family together.
