Painful Contradiction

There is something I havent been able to understand about Bandini and that is where is the story line going and what is the underlying message.. something basic that we can derive out of the show. Ok so its understandable that DM doesn't love santu I can understand if he doesn't even respect her..so he wants to continue this delusion of subhadra a little longer.. but what is the creative team trying to show us about gujrati families that they hit their daughter in laws? I know from personal experience that gujrati families are very kind and loving and respectful of their daughters so why this charade here. Firstly they show DM is Dharamraj (the king of justice) for dharampur and everywhere around. Then we have this Motiben in the house who is the most unjust person ever and DM (dare i say he seems without backbone) doesn't say a word to her. Not to mention every time something happens santu gets slapped around by motiben and no one says a word not even subhadra's parents who have supposedly called santu their own daughter. Think of this if subhadra was being slapped around would her parents just stay quiet like that. My guess is no. so why this treatment for santu? so many times I have seen motiben physically abusing santu and no one says nothing..even after so much she's done for the family. When will the creative team understand that this potrays a very negetive and bad image of this show and gujrati families in general. Sorry if I offended anyone I just personally feel sad when I see a good human being treated so badly.

Hello All,
I'm new to this forum however i do watch bandini regularly. It started off as being a different series compared to the rest of them. However i'm starting to doubt it. As mentioned in one of the post, what i fail to understand is that they show the main character i.e DM as a very strong and an authoritative individual but when it comes to injustice in his own house he either turns his face or is completely oblivious to it all. Starting with all that his sister has done right from the beginning ------stripping his wife although not considered by him as his wife. How come when it comes to his kids all the secrets come out but when its santu's case he has no clue.
At this rate it clearly shows his sister could get away with murder.
It's high time the creator shows him getting to know of all the injustice and he is able to decipher that the woman he has married has more sense than his sister. He should be told of the physical abuse, coz now it's getting ridiculous AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL THE CREATORS SHOULD REALLY GIVE SOME CREDIT TO THE VIEWERS

Yes, of all the things shown in this show, the abuse is the hardest to take. The creatives definitely need to be more creative in positive ways than negative. It totally puts viewing audience off. I don't know who they are trying to please with these awful scenes.
