i read an article abut it but aasiya is still playing as santo so im guessing shes not going

No yaar. Those were just rumors. This issue has been resolved a long time back.

If I recollect rightly, ?it was a TRP/marketing gimmick

Yeah, this was a very old rumor that was denied by the production house as well as the channel
