Friends,
I think Khemi is DM's daughter and Hiten is the one who comes from choti jaati.
Remember DM keep saying and pressing the point that he would be the one who would do Kanyadan of Khemi. Hiten does act to some extant like DM ( say- stubbern ness and hot headed) but most of the time is thinking and openinon is way to different than DM.
Any thoughts

no hindus do not marry cousins they are considered pracitcally as brothers/sisters

Yep, Hindus can marry first cousins, in our culture. That is one can marry paternal aunt's son or daughter and maternal uncle's son or daughter. But one can't marry paternal uncle's son or daughter, that is considered as sibling. Same with maternal aunt's children, they are also considered siblings. Don't know who came with these rules😆 I am against anybody marrying any relative, gene poolwise it's not too good😊
