The rules should apply to all three sister or to none at all.

BC, this is quite normal in large families where there's a big age range in brothers and sisters. Example, my MIL are 11 brothers and sisters. Older siblings were married long before the younger ones even entered school. Result, older siblings already had children when uncles and aunts aren't even married yet. To take it further (and it gets confusing) these older siblings' children have children that are older then the younger sibling's children who are uncles and aunts by relation.

BC,
There is also a difference between Birwa treating Moonghi as an aunt, and Khemi as an aunt. Moonghi was just trying to be smart with Birwa the other day... Birwa is not going to start calling Moonghi as maasi.

Like Mombs said, this situation happens (or used to happen) in mary families in India. Because women had children way late into their 40s. Now women have just 1 or 2. But in cases where the fertility rate is high, such a situation will arise where your aunt might be younger to you.

My father is younger by 2 years, to his niece! My maternal uncle is just 11 months older than my maasi's daughter... these things happen. But my cousin does not call my uncle as maama, nor does my dad get called maama by his niece .... the relationship is in the minds, not in everyday practice.

What the maasi relationship here means, in Bandini, is that Hiten and the rest of DM children will not be expected to address Khemi and Moonghi as maasi. But they will be expected to honour society's rules and regulations with regard to that relationship. That is all....

Ok i'm not going to get into the family tree as that stuff starts to confuse the hell out of me but all i know is that i want HK to unite.

It would be convincing if Maulik turns out to be Taru's son just so long as Hiten remains DM's.

Sandeep stalking Kuddu is ridiculous as what can he gain from harassing her now. If it is him than she better inform Duggu asap so she gets a restraining order because he ought not to be able to damage her relationship with him since he is well aware of her past. If anything, the real conflict will be when she learns that he loved Santu.

DM and Santu's relationship will be slow as she has gained the status as the mother but becoming his wife will be harder as she needs to melt Taru's heart; sort out HK and than maybe he'll notice her.
