This idea just came to me... (God, I am going mental over Hit-Mi I think)😆....
Without resorting to any of the proven TV-world gimmicks, there is one way Khemi can still marry Hiten, even if she is biologically related to Santo as sibling. If Khemi is adopted by someone else, then she becomes (technically/socially) the daughter of that person, and so is free to marry Hiten. For the society, she is no longer Santo's sister.
Considering the run-in between just 3 families in this serial- The Mahiyanshis, The Waghelas, and whatever is the surname for Rasik, I suspect Meghna-Rasik may adopt Khemi and give her in marriage to Hiten. Their friendship with DM will be strengthened. They wanted to make DM's daughter their bahu. Now they will make DM's son their damaad. Meghna likes Santo, so she may help. DM is shown as a fair man, so it is possible he won't object to Hit-Mi.If at all, he will only blame himself and his marriage to Santo standing in the way of his son's happiness.
How about this solution people?
