Apart from indications to how Hiten-Santo relationship will be in future, we ar also being given indications of what Hiten-Khemi relationship is going to be. Me thinks it will be hard for Hiten to get involved with Khemi once he recognises Santo as having some place in his father's house/life...

Hiten will probably be like the Mahabharat character Bhishma, who also had to deal with a step-mother younger to him in age, but who he steadfastly supported all his wife, to the extent that he remained unmarried, so that there is no threat to his step-mother's progeny! Am making a huge guess here, but that is my feeling!

I mean , did not get posted for some reason ..

you are right - ideally, DM should have been the one who should have arrived to the situation .. but as they say, sometimes to get the answer, you have to take a step back and see the bigger picture .. for DM, taking a step back would have meant going back to the basics, and that was not possible for him because he was SO occupied with the repercussions that would have happened !

It was apparent in his tone while talking to Pinakin that he was very much preparing AND expecting the worst!
