I am still so besotted by that scene ...
I was thinking hard about that scene .. and again and again just this
one thing came to my mind : It was not really necessary for DM to hold her hand and blow on her burns to make her feel better ... he could have just applied the cream on her fingers a little and left .. atleast that is what the original DM would do ...

But the mere fact that DM DID hold her hand oh-so-gently and blow on her fingers dedicatedly quite a number of times said a LOT .. about how much he had changed, all the care and attention that he had been denying for Santo actually came out .. in just that one gesture.. aww DM I love you SO much more!

Since all the scenes have been dissected and analyzed in detail I am going to mention just one part that I loved. It is right before he goes to put the ointment on her fingers. Him sitting with his legs raised and pouring the chai in the saucer and slurping it while giving her instructions to use the yellow 'toob'. Kya ada thee - kaatilaana ada. 😊

You are right Sukhi... DM need not have blown her hand to make her feel better. Should we assume that atoot bandhan has already begun?

Or DM is just accepting her as part of the family now, even if he is not yet ready to see her wife? Can't see him do this to Champakali. He would have given her the ointment and asked her to apply it.

Santo was also smart ya... she didn't just take the ointment and leave. She stood there fiddling with it and DM was forced to see what was going on😊
