I am a shanky-santu rooter.Was,still is,but I KNOW its not going to happen.Yes,they were too good,he was too good..maybe its was not in her fate to have a hubby like him..

Having said that,we are yet to see how DM was with subhadra,and how he would be to santu.

well i hope in next janam shank and santu are together. really i do. no matter how much DM loves her in this life. (can't believe we're talking about lives).

anyway, i just can't imagine it. yes the love will be incomprehensible to us i know. but it's just so sad that he is the age of her father. and they think so differently.

DM must be what 40 ATLEAST? 45 maybe?
and santu is probably 19 right?

it's just so sad.

what will their relationship be? friends? of trust?

sigh, i know what all the right answers are supposed to be but i still can't help feeling sorry for her fate. it's soo weird if you think about it from DM's kids' view. She's probably their age and younger than hiten. i would never tolerate it with my father. man i hate even thinking of the idea (without even thinking abt it). she has to call her husband's children "behn and bhai?" soooo weird. sry guys i can't get over it. i guess the best way this type of scene was constructed was aish in devdas. paro's answers were mindblowing.

Agree with you kgh. Even if DM would ultimately love her it is a fact that he is more than 30 years her senior which means there is greater probability of her leading a life of a widow during her prime. Even if DM has a very long life, it will not be sickness free. She will be nursing him most of the time I guess. But in all this what matters is what Santo wants. Maybe she does not mind doing all this. All that matters to her are the years she would spend with her husband, irrespective of the timespan. A few good years with a good loving man may be better than a life time with someone who can make one's life a living hell (not that Shanks would ever be such a character) but I am just saying hypothetically. Whatever they show I only hope that DM-Santo's relationship is shown as a mature one and not too much is emphasised on the physicalilty of it.

I agree with what you are saying .. that the DM/Santo relationship will always have that tragic undertone for you because of the extreme age difference between the two .. but whoever can guarantee the time love will stay for .. it may be 1 year or 100 !

It all depends on the individuals' happiness !
