Today's episode and Shashank were standing proof of this fact.. As we all suspected, he'd already told DM about his unrequited love and DM accepted it.. And appreciated him for telling the truth.. Shanky is a sweetheart and Kaddu doesn't deserve him.. Him or even sandeep...
I loved the last 5 minutes today, what Shashank says.. He was truly in love with Santo, it wasn't a passing crush or anything..
Santo is near the staircase, when Taru comes and asks her to change her clothes.. She goes on top to change.. Shashank also wants to change, DM asks him to go to the room next to his and change.. Santo is done first and walks out of her room, locks the door, when she realises that she forgot her mangalsutra.. she goes back in and Shanky comes out.. He hears something in DM's room, goes to check it out and sees santo's back... He walks away..By the time Santo sprints to the front, they've already left.. She runs behind the car, but in vain.. I really dont get why she ran behind the car though.. If they'd even stopped the car, what would she have told them.. Anyways she goes back to the store room with news of her failure, MAulik is disappointed.. Santo says ki there's another way, and gets the car keys... You know, the saddest part is, even after she's done soooo much for him, that idiot still treats her like dirt.. I wont blame DM for whatever he does to Maulik tomorrow, when he finds him.. Worthless piece of trash only he is...
DM Shashank and Kaddu are on their way to the airport when Sandy calls.. Kaddu is too scared to recieve the call, DM asks who's phone is it? Shanky tells Sandy.. DM takes the phone from Kaddu and answers it.. He tells Sandy that now that Kaddu's engaged, he should stop calling her sooo late... Sandy apologises and asks if he can speak to kaddu, DM tells him to make it quick.. Kaddu talks to him and hangs up..
Now they reach the airport where Sandy takes his mum and asks her if she told Kaddu about his first love.. Meghna makes excuses and says ki she thinks kaddu shouldn't know.. DM comes there.. And he tells her, when she got soo angry for him not telling her about hiten.. Now how could she hide such a huge thing from him.. DM tells him that shanky told him everything the day they were coming home from the airport.. Flashes back to the well, where shanky tells DM that he fell in love with someone, but his love was unrequited.. Before he could tell the girl that he loved her, she got married.. She doesn't even know that he loved her(Thank you shanky... Love you for this...)... H/e tells DM all this and then tells him that its upto him now, whether he wants his daughter to get engaged to him.. DM smiles takes a sikka from Shanky and throws it into the well and thanks khodiyar maa, coz his daughter is getting such a good var.. Shanky is also relieved.. DM tells Meghna that this boy fell in love, but unfortunately for him, things dint work out.. But it is nothing to hide na?? And walks away.. Shanky tells meghna, that he has still not gotten over his love for the girl.. His mind has accepted the fact that she's married, but it will take time for his heart to accept the same.. He will get married to kaddu though, and try his level best to keep her happy.. LOVED shanky- DM interaction.. DM was again his daddy cool self, which was great.. I love the sensitive side in DM.. It brings out a whole new range to the character...
Shanky's flight is announced and he's walking toward the boarding gate..Meanwhile, Santo is at the ticket counter purchasing two tickets(where did she get the money i wonder????).. Shanky has a beautiful monologue with himself.. Which shows the depth of his love for santo.. He ends by saying ki, i wish i could see you just once more... Santo comes there, his back is facing her...
I smell trouble for Santo-Maulik.. god knows how DM is going to find out that the girl Shanky is sooo desperately in love with is Santo... Whatever be the case, tomorrow is going to be one hell of an episode..
