17th April - Mehndi lagake rakhna, doli sajake rakhna...
A rather lukewarm episode, with the highlight of the episode being the first few minutes of the show.. Love the bond Hiten Monghi have formed.. Not really liking the bond brewing between hiten-khemi... Today DM was all pappa, no Malik.. Loved the way he orders Hiten to come there, tells him that its his duty to be there.. Dont know why Hiten dint go though.. Stubborn idiot he is.. The one chance he could've utilised to make things right between him and his father and he dint take it.. Maybe he'll come later... Dm talks to shady sandy as well, who seems to be getting shadier by the minute.. Tells him that he and all of kaddu's doston better come to the engagement.. Kaddu is relieved when Sandy tells her he'll be there in an hour.. But a while later, when she calls him up, he's still at home... Really creepy guy.. I mean, girlfriend is on the verge of getting engaged and he's all cool and chill.. He's soo upto noo good.. Anyways, their big plan is finally revealed, and it is to, drum roll please, run away... Santo over hears the running away part of the conversation and is all worried.. She asks Kaddu what she's saying? Kaddu gets all possessed and fiery and tells her that she heard right. She loves sandy and she's running away with him.. And that if Santo tells anyone, she'll drink poison.. Santo gets frightened.. Kaddu browbeats her properly and places the blame, on Santo's shoulder.. Poor santo doesn't know what to say and is sooo scared.. Wow, ok, kaddu knows to hit where it hurts, she neatly places the blame on Santo, when she knows that Santo wont be able to defend herself at all.. The poor thing, quitely accepts everything.. Kaddu is in her room, tying up saree's together to make a rope and get out of her room. . Santo is outside her room, worrying...Taru comes there, and kadu gets scared and opens the door, Santo spies the tied up saree's and quickly covers it up.. Taru asks Kaddu to get ready and asks champu to help her... Time for plan B...
The waghela- Solanki's come there.. DM welcomes them and interacts sooo sweetly with Monghi.. Santo greets her family and takes khemi aside and tells her the whole deal.. She then wonders how this evening is going to end...
They're taking their time to build up the story.. Which is a good thing... This story is in a wonderful position and rushing things may ruin the final outcome... Next week, hopefully Kaddu gets engaged (or not).. And saas-damaad finally meet...
