Thanks Neeti for sharing this new promo information.

25th is next Wednesday so it will take 5 more episodes for the truth to reach DM and then for us to know how Santu is put on the spot for making a decision. I don't think DM is the type to allow Santu to decide the punishment - as the Malik he considers that his right. Maybe what Santu has to decide is whether they want to bring it out in the open as to who the culprit is.
