The whole world could have played Dharamraj ji, but ONLY RR could have created the Dharamraj that I like and LOVE, no one else. I would not have liked any other Dharamraj ji no matter how strong, intriguing, confident and whatever their personalities were AND no matter who acted in this role. For me, only RR could have hit that perfectly right cord and HE HAS. I may be called biased and blind, but, if thats the ONLY WAY I like it, then, so be it.

PS: I do like grey characters the most, but then, there are numerous of them whom I like and forget the very next day. In the case of Dharamraj ji, I wouldn't have watched the serial in the first place had it not been for RR, no matter who essayed the role.

PPS: AND, even if I watched the serial by accident, I know I would have gone whatevrrrrrrrr and switched the channel. I am just like that, too quickly bore honeka problem hai mujhe 😕.

Dharamraj ji's strides, his postures, his body language, his frown, his set and hardened jaw, his very deep baritone and his even deeper jet black eyes, he exude pure raw manly power. He is the ruler, he creates the laws and he applies them as if he not a mere mortal and the all the rest are.

Ronit Roy has created an ICON yet again for me, as I always believed he would.

You are right - even I have always beleived that RR has that midas touch .. to turn everything he touches into gold .. and that is exactly what he has done to us .. to Dharamraj .. he has turned it into another masterpiece and already has us smitten by the tyrant in a mere 4 days !

I just cant beleive it's been just 4 days of official broadcast .. coming back to your topic though, I dont think DM will kill for his purpose.. he will do everything close to it .. but I dont think he can or will kill for himself!

Yaar, the look he gives, his gaze, can surely kill ☺️☺️. My knees went quite weak during the DM and Virat scene ☺️☺️..... good thing that I was sitting down. Yea, I agress with ya, he won't kill on purpose, but he will go close I think.

I never liked RR as Bajaj and Mihir....I think the women dominated Kyunki...

In KS I hated his introduction as Aparajit Deb, but once that awful intro episode was over....I like as AD...tough, manipulative...and soft when it came to Durga Das...I really hated Ekta for the way his departure was done.

He does have some of the AD's trait in this role. Someone who has loved passionately, is tough and unbreakable...I guess the success of the serial is going to depend on how this man is broken by a simple girl...the only thing I feel is there is no chemistry going on between RR and the girl playing Santo.

Anything more trurer can't be said. Even though people have varied tastes, his roles as RISH, MIHU, KUNAL....were loved, adored and were simply trumendous hits. RISH and BABZ toh became icons. Bheeshma is unforgettable for me and would have become an ICON as well, had Ekta backed MB up correctly from her end.
