DHARAMRAJ JI is the quintessential JAMINDAR (Diamond merchant) ...the Ronit Roy I know is not there. I know its acting, but, it feels like I am watching this cruel, manipulative, political, unfeeling, rock (more like Everest) of a man who can even take a human life without even blinking, to adhere to his wishes, traditions and rules. I want to call him a Royal Bengal Tiger, so majestic is his aura, but, this TYRANT is not from Bengal unfortunately. I love him automatically, cause I lubb RR, but, when I think logically, I don't love this man at all. WHAT KIND OF A PERSON LOVES A TYRANT, A DICTATOR........!!!!!! He is succeeded in doing this to me, after giving me RISH, MIHIR and BHEESHMA! Now, if this is not a sublime piece of acting, then, I don't know what is. I am loving his looks and it has nothing to do with him being THE TYRANT.

Dharamraj ji's strides, his postures, his body language, his frown, his set and hardened jaw, his very deep baritone and his even deeper jet black eyes, he exude pure raw manly power. He is the ruler, he creates the laws and he applies them as if he not a mere mortal and the all the rest are.

Ronit Roy has created an ICON yet again for me, as I always believed he would.

Even though DM is evil and all, i still love him, because he is real. He is not a sissy, he is the kind of guy who is driven by ambition. I m not talking because it's RR, i m saying it because of the life that RR has given to the character. He wants to win, he is crude and all but I know that underneath there is a caring guy who once knew how to love, and now since the death of his loved one, his wife...he has left that side of him too...he doesn't want to associate it with that side of himself. Even though he is rude and crude and all the other stuff, he has a heart, I know it. DM rocks for me. I love DM.

Mota Bahi....I know you love DM. What do you think my feelings about DM is are ☺️? But say DM wasn't RR at all and say that the story intrigued you so much that you became a fan of the serial. Would you have liked the character of Dharanraj ji then? I would have, because I always like characters with shades of grey in them. Mahan sort of characters always bore me to death..always. I like DM type of characters cause of their interesting personality, their confidence, their strategic mind, their inrelligence, their utter aloofness, their determination, their strength .... but above all, I think I love such characters so much is because, there may be the possibility of such man turning and becoming humane (not weak, not mahan...only humane) and that change, that transition I love THE MOST. If handed properly this chage can create magic.

Also, Mota Bhai, we don't know if DM has a heart at all. He might still love and miss his dead wife, but, he still could have been distant with her as well, loving her in his own tyranical way. His wife might have died feeling unloved na? Possible hai....I know it won't be the case, because we know the direction the story is heading towards and the tag line of the serial. BUT, what if he had been like this always...he might not change at all.

I would have still loved DM, but the thing is that DM has RR written all over it. I can't imagine anyone else playing DM, it is custom made for RR.
I don't like goody two shoes either...i for sure believe that DM has a very happy past with his wife that ended up turning him the way he is now after the death of his wife. RR said na "My character is still in love with his dead wife and he doesn't wanna marry any Santo ya Banto" LOL!!

So if he can still love then, he is not a TYRANT.
Also in the IF interview, RR has clearly mentioned...that his character has left a part of him behind that he can't go back to, but that's what Santo will do, she will take him back there. She will change his life.

u know ekta said in her interview on sbs that the theme of the story is that how a girl like santu can change the life of dharmaraj initally they will show RR characters in gray colors then slowly santu will change his life ekta said that santu will change dhramaraj life to such an extent that one day when she will come infront of him he will stand from his chair to give santu a respeact...so basically santu character is so much strong so she will vanish all gray shades of dharmaraj...

Pinky...wowow did Ekta really say that? The girl playing Santo is cute and all, but, she needs to go through serious personality transformation to make Dharamraj Ji stand an give her respect. Santo needs to develop the personality and strength of character to compel Dharamraj ji to do such a thing. or else, the scene will become a joke - A lion standing up for.....hmm... I guess its up to the director and Ekta to develop and guide Aayesha towards this goal. It will be very interesting to watch.

PS: Pinky you know, I lubb the name Pinky very, very much.

Mota Bhai, I also can't imagine anyone else playing DM's role. Dharamraj ji is Tyrant right now ☺️ cause, he has surely forgotten all about his heart and its existance. The magic will be in watching him remember that he too is humane, has a heart, can feel, can love, can give and can become another dream (you know the DREAM I mean. It will be very tough, but I think he can).
