and yes, i loved that overhearing scene as well as the helping with the buttons.. and of course, when he just refuses to do the pooja and upon insistance from Guru ji, he is left with no choice.. and the look he gives Santo.. just wowww..

first time i am watching RR serial from start, and must say, he is a fabulous fabulous actor.. the little nuances and changes in expressions are just awesome..!! 👏

Todays episode was completely about Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi and his rule.. DM's dialogue, Phool ke badle phool, lathi ke badle lathi aur khoon ke badle khoon, perfectly summed up DM, his ideals and principles.. Not saying he's a tit for tat kind of guy, its his way of life.. You do something to him, good or bad, he'll give it back to you tenfold...

He was the counsellor, judge and jury for jagmohan today.. HE played perfectly on Jaggu's mentality, perfectly attacking his weakness for power, by asking him to identify the attackers in exchange for the return of his position as union leader.. Backstabber Jaggu, gives up his comrades and tells DM that these were the people who attacked him.. DM has him cornered with this, he asks the accused people to tell him who attacked him from the back, hitting him on his head? They all point at jaguu.. By that time, Bapuji, maulik, K-bari and champakali(??) whom santu had informed about the recent developments and Santu herself, rush there, abnd watch in horror as an infuriated DM starts beating up Jaguu with the lathi... He ends by hitting Jaggu on the head, just as he was hit and throws the lathi down... He tells jaggu, if you wanted a fight, you could've told me, we'd have fought face to face, there was no need for you to hit me when my back was turned.. And you have the audacity to threaten Madhav kaka??? If you dare threaten anyone else in my village, i will take your life Jagamohan.. and walks off... Jaggu the idiot tells DM that yes, he attacked him when his back was turned.. But DM has attacked him in front of everyone.. He will go to the police... DM gets ecen more angry.. POLICE, he asks?? you wantto go to the police na.. then go.. go to the police.. But you need witnessess first... Find witnesses... Jaggu the idiot goes to the same set of people he betrayed, they dont even look at him.. then he goes to parashuram kaka, who pushes him away.. basically, no one is willing to be a witness.. DM then tells, Dekha jagmohan, koi nahi ayega.. Yeh dharampur hai, yahan sirf, dharamraj ka raj chaltha hai.. Is liye nahin, ki main malik hoon, par isliye, kyunki main dharam ka saath deta hoon... phhol ke badle phool, lathi ke badle lathi aur lahu ke badle lahu.. yahi, dharmapur ka kanoon hai.. and walks off... POWERFUL scene.. a Must watch.. Both RR and jaggu are great.. Every great leader needs a thorn in his side.. And jaguu is that thorn in Dharamraj's side... I doubt jagmohan will stop his plotting even with the public humiliation... On the contrary i think, he'll just keep pushing forward.. I wouldn't say, jagmohan is a formidable adversary, but he's the one who can topple the apple cart.. I hope we get to see more of such scenes, DM just excudes power in them... back to the show, DM is walking back to his car, when he overhears the conversation between Santu and the everhelpful Induben who asks Santu why she ratted out on Jaggu, now her nanaji 's life is in danger.. Santu very demurely says, ki woh mere pati hai.. unka jaan bachana mera dharam hai.. Aur unhone vachan diya hai ki woh nanaji ko kuch nahi hone denge... MAlik hamesha apne vachan nibhate hai.. And DM gets all soft.. aww... cute scene.. This just goes to show, to what extent she is willing to go to keep her husband safe.. She is not able to see beyond him, which is a very very good thing.. First comes DM then the others.. This in an ekta K show is extremely refreshing to see, as usually its the other way round.. First comes everyone else, probably even the neighbours dog, and then finally, husband...

Back at home, holi preparations are in full swing... Hiten, Viraat and surekha come to the haveli.. Surekha goes to baa and asks her about santu.. And baa is irritated.. more insecure actually than anything else..She tells surekha that Santu is taking the place of her daughter in the house.. She is right, as Subhadra's mother.. But as DM's baa, she's being completely narrow minded and selfish.. If she truly considered DM as her son, she would be atleast a little more happy.. I'm not saying she should be jumping with joy, but she should be a little more accepting toward santu.. surekha is way better than her nother.. She knows that DM cannot wallow/grieve for the rest of his life.. He needs to move on... Baa finally swears that she wont let santu take her daughters place...

Taruben gets new clothes for santu, as there would be guests and she cant roam around in her daily garb.. She asks Champakali to get Santu ready.. Champakali tells santu that looks how the fates are, the woman who made you remove your clothes for an earring is giving you clothes herself..Santu gives a small smile... I had one thing going in my head during the entire scene..SANTU NO... Why did she take the damn clothes.. why why??? I wish she'd told no, on taruben's face... Again just goes to show, how much she's willing to endure for the sake of her husband and his family... I just wish somewhere down the line she's a little more firm...

Now, back in DM's room, he's chatting with subhadra, talking about holi and all.. He's putting his kurta on at the same time, and thanks to a few fastened buttons, his head gets stuck.. Santu who's walking past sees her malik, and immediately rushes inside, and unfastens the buttons.. DM then notices her.. And asks her, what she's doing in.. She says that she saw him struggling with the buttons(is all shy now.. chooo chweet), so came to help... DM points to the portrait and says, that's my wife(finally intro mil gaya use).. Dont come into this room again... Santu does namaste to the portrait and is about to walk out.. when she truns around, shows him the thali with the clothes and says, ye kapde, been ba ne mujhe di hai, puja ke liye.. DM says, acha theek hai and asks her to go... Soooo sweet.. This scene had me all gooey... How cute are these two.. DM is all arrogant yet soft, and santu is all blushes and yet determined.. She's learnt her lesson from the last time.. Once brnt, twice shy.. Especially when DM is concerned...

DM is sitting for the puja when he hears the chan chan of santu's payal.. All look toward the stairs and see Santu coming down, in a rust/orange saree looking serene... DM asks panditji to start the puja, when guruji tells him that this puja has to be done by husband and wife..DM says he'll do it alone.. Panditji says, by doing so, you'll be insulting God.. DM gets up to leave, panditji says you cant get up in the middle of the puja.. And says, santu has to sit with you for the puja.. You might be malik of dharampur, but he's the Lord of the world, and you have to obey him.. You have to do this puja with your wife, santu..DM looks irritated... Episode ends...

I loved the last scene.. It was like a naughty son being reprimanded by his father.. DM tries to get out of doing the puja with santu. but guruji keeps insisting... Finally DM will succumb and do the puja with Santu.. WIll be surely explosive tomo.. Though the previews kinda put off the romantic in me which was hoping for a softer kinder method of DM putting the rang on santu, istead of throwing it on her.. Nevertheless, it is going to be a wonderful episode tomorrow...

P.S does anyone know if Bandini will be airing on fridays from this week???

i know, ehh.. the 'chan chan' of Santo's payal.. i think it's very sweet, and i am becoming quite fond of it, actually.. lol..

i have no idea if it is going to start airing Mon-Fri starting this week.. Sanjay sir had mentioned it, so hopefully, it will be soon, however, i think this Fri there is an episode of Oye! with Abhishek.. so more likely not this week..

😆 If & when DM & Santo become a proper couple and if they ever have a fight, they won't need a third person to communicate through, they would just use that potrait.

Santo: Subha ji, please tell Malik his tea is getting cold.

DM: Subha my love, please tell that Chokri I don't want any tea made by her. And it could never be sweet as yours my love.

Santo: Subha ji, please tell him you're as cold as the tea six feet under!
