You are right Mombs ..

Though moti has been horrendous to her, I know Santo is as innocent as a baby .. she will never want any harm to anybody!

I just read the update and saw the video and what else can I say, except, Oh my...
The whole Moti-ben, Santu and Champakali scene was too much to digest...but at the same time, very poignant and hurting. And frankly, after watching a film like Slumdog, which apparently shows the reality in India's slums, I can't see why it shocked me to see Moti-ben getting Santu undressed for searching! I guess such things do happen in real life too, after all where else can art gets its inspiration from?
Aasiya was fantastic in the scene...it would have been a tough one to do...almost like one is getting stripped of one's dignity alongside the clothes. Moti-ben sure has no heart with her and absolutely not a shred of compassion.
And I am so hoping against hope, that DM comes to know of this...
DM is a fair guy, that we know and he has been proving it right by his actions. It would be unfair to blame him for every problem befalling Santu, because the guy woudln't know everything going on in his house, right? I wish Ba or Bapuji keeps an eye on Santu and see to it that Moti-ben doesn't get away with murder everytime.
And as Hema says, for once, we don't want a self-sacrificing, weeping, spineless protogonist. Santu till now has shown amazing presence of mind, perseverance and confidence, given the way her character has been cut out and hopefully this will continue. Showing fortitude and patience is one thing, letting people trample all over you is quite another...and either DM or Santu herself should put a firm handle on this!
Very good performances by all the actors...RR looks more and more comfortable in the character he plays and every gesture of his shows that. Aaisya is wonderfully emotive and very natural. I don't want to comment on Moti-ben...😡
Soapie
PS: I don't think DM cares for Santu yet...atleast not as his wife...whatever he has for her is sympathy and some parts guilt as a human being for another...I think it will be some time before he realizes the whole deal between them and sees her as his wife first and foremost! But I still like the fact that DM is almost, always civil with her and even when he loses his cool (abetted by M-ben) he almost immediately realizes it!😊 He is a nice guy, our DM!😳

Soapie - I waited for your analysis and unluckily you had to do it on a BAD episode .. godd it was too much to take - all that torture on Santo .. you would expect her to cry all night and not present her face to anyone out of shame the next day - but she's a real brave lass- she was up and ready the next morning , mopping the stairs like nothing transpired b/w her and Champakali .. I think because of the goodwill Santo has shown to her, Champakali will now go all out to shield her malkin😳

Rahi malkin ki baat .. he's getting on the trail - he should come to know soon .. yea he's a nice guy .. highly misunderstood😳😳😳

Sukhs,
I didn't find yesterday's episode to be bad, in the sense that what happened with Santu was bad...but in my opinion, I found the whole scene to be shot quite well...it brought out the shame and indignity that Santu goes through, just when she is beginning life as someone's better half!
Most of the times, sensitive scenes like these are not shot with care and discretion and hence they appear to be rather appaling on screen, but I found this particular 'Cheer haran' scene to be done really well...and also, it appeared to go well with the rural theme.
So many times we have read about women being disrobed and paraded in public in small town / rural areas as a punishment for something...I think this particular scene was a take on such incidents.
What I have always found disgusting about BT scenes is the fact that though they show incidents on screen which are marked from real life, they don't do it in a sensitive manner...but this particular scene in Bandini was done well enough!
I just hope the directors and creative head of the show don't keep changing...as long as they are around, the quality of the show will be maintained!

Not pleased with this episode. DM warns Motti Bhen about further mistakes but come on where is the punishment. I am not satisfied until that motti gets a good thumping. Sighhhhhh only if the gundas beat up Motti instead of DM.
Oyyyy look at what happened DM hurt. LOL I am not happy he got hurt but we all know what is going to happen next. It is all sooooo filmy girl takes care of boy, boy likes girl and sees her in new light. Tralaaalaaahhhhhh so the story goes.
Similar to Devar Magan little bit.

The ending of today's episode was just WOW.. We got to see Rambo! DM... He was beating up all the gunda's nice and proper, before that unfair shot to his head.. Rambo DM= Smexcii...

Let me get back to the beginning now.. Santu's remembering what taru did to her, when Taru beckons her.. She gets absolutely terrified... And slowly, dreading each moment makes her way to her.. Taru being all sadistic tell her that she is filled with happiness on seeing the fright in Santu.. And asks her to belofy papads...
DM shows today that he's just in everyway. He thinks back to the times where in he's yelled at santu thanks to his motiben and then goes to her, and asks her to put a stop to her half truths.. Motiben says that now, the malik of dharampur is going to punish her.. DM reassures her that he's still her nanka.. But then warns her as well, saying that dont do anything else so that i'm forced to become Dharampur's malik in front of you and walks off...
I'm truly waiting for the day he does become Dharampur's malik.. Coz i'm sure he'll not spare her.. SIster or not, she's committed a crime and she will have to pay.. Maybe its just my imagination or wishful thinking, but i saw atleast a little bit of Santu's pati in that scene as well.. RR is oerfect in this scene, controlled and not letting his emotions run away with him.. He warns her and reassures her in the same sentence, only DM can do that..
Nanaji comes to visit Santu and she runs to him and starts crying. Moti comes there and asks her why she's crying, and Santu says that they are tears of happiness coz she saw her nanaji... Moti says her usual dialogues, that good they're tears of happiness coz they wouldn't want nanaji to think she's being illtreated there now would they???
This scene conveyed all it had to, perfectly... Santu has matured a lot in the past 24 hours.. She's scared of Taru, terrified even.. But still, she will stand up to her one of these days, and that day will be worth the wait.. Taru is going to get what she deserves, from both DM and Santu...
Then comes hiten's new project, a factory in his mothers name. He wants to stand up on his own to do this for his mother, goes to get a loan sanctioned..DM, being DM is proud of his son and helps him out, without Hiten's knowledge of course.. Hiten tells kadambari the good news and asks her to get everyone to the puja, champakali included, everyone other than DM(and Santu)...Kadambari doesn't to tell her father that he's not invited, he knows it already.... this scene was all about Hiten's anger, DM's pride, Kadambari supporting her brother, but feeling bad for her father as well... Anyways, moving on, Champakali goes to inform Santu that they're all off to the puja and that only she and malik haven't been invited... Santu is surprised that even malik has been left out.. She gives her the box of sweets nanaji gave her and a rupee coin asking her to put it to ma, and to give the sweets to hiten, but not to tell him that its from her.. This scene again goes to show just how much santu has grown/matured.. emotionally... She does exactly what a mother would have done.. Even though she calls him hiten bhai, she's behaving just as his mother would have.. Asiya is brilliant is these scenes...
And then the climax... Pinakin rushes to inform DM that he's required to go to surat immediately, for an urgent meeting.. DM asks why so late?? Pinakin says ki, its regarding the consignment, and DM immediately agrees.. Tells pinakin to take care of the factory while he goes to surat.. DM realises that the diamonds are at home and calls up.. Santu hesitantly goes and picks it up, as there is no one else at home.. DM recognises her voice(OMG..OMG..squee moment) and asks her why she picked up and tells her to give the line to someone else.. Santu tells ki there's noone else at home.. DM hangs up... He rings the bell, worker comes in, he asks for his car.. Worker says it'll take some time.. DM tells him he'll go home and come, and that the car should be ready to take him to surat.. And walks out.. The worker(cheat!!) calls up the rat(jaggu that is) and tells ki DM has left the building..
DM is in his car, going toward surat(i think) when the driver stops thanks to a tree branch on the road... Driver goes to remove it, when he's attacked by a few stick wielding rowdies... DM notices him getting beat up and rushes out to help him... he knocks one guy out and is beating up the rest of them, when Jaggu jumps into the action, DM beats him up as well, but is his on the head by another guy.. His head starts bleeding(ouch) and then again hit on the front of his head, which starts bleeding as well.. DM falls down unconsious...
Can skip the entire episode and directly jump to the last part...Where Rambo DM is in action... I doubt anything serious will happen to him.. The great thing about this is Santu will help him recover, nurse him back to health... and DM will finally finally probably start seeing Santu as his wife... Cant wait for tomorrow's episode... its going to be great.. I hope the family dont come back too soon.. They should all go off to surat, to visit surekha...And Moti better not be there tp ruin anything....
Ok, i've mentioned this before, but now i'm sure... Looks like the equation Malik-Madhav solanki ki dohitri has improved to DM-chokri whom i'm legally wedded to...
Loving the possessiveness and the authority with which he speaks to her... Its gotten more personal for him...
