Wah! Kya Episode tha!!! I happen to say that everyday now...Bandini better keep up its standards in the future, because it has already set the bar very high!
Stand-out scene of the day : DM deciding to wed Santu and walking away from Pinakin and Guruji towards the Wedding Mandap! Awesome is the only word that comes to mind!
Performances : RR all the way, but Aasiya is catching up real fast! The girl is so good...I absolutely loved her expression's, the way they change from 'OMG...what is this happening to me' to 'Oh No...so this is what is happening to me...' the bewilderment, helplessness and then finally resignation in her eyes was depicted so wonderfully!
DM's face was a myraid of emotions during the wedding ceremony. Disgust, Apathy, Helplessness, sheer fury, guilt, determination....so many emotions expressed without uttering a single word! The whole wedding scene was done really well....I also liked Induben's explanation of 'Karyeshu Mantri...' to Santu.
In the end, can't help but feel bad for Santu, helped by the fact that Aasiya does have a remarkably innocent and guiless face...just like that of a child!
Now to see where Santu lands up...DM's kothi in Surat or DM's corner in Dharampur!

I know right!!
Kya style hai DM mein...i mean even in dhoti he walks with so much 😳 he is just awesome.
I felt bad for Santo I really did, and what helped was RR's portrayal of a very mean DM...i mean the way he was treating her is like he is soooo 😡 but still i found him very 😳 cute. hehehe
Aasiya really was very good today. 👏

soapie, me thinks she'll end up taking a tour of surat.. After all, shashank se milna to hai na??? So DM's kothi in surat it is...
Sammie, chemistry was overflowing... DM's silent fury and Santu's silent acceptance.. It was amazing...

Even I found their chemistry to be cute...and I love the height difference...Aasiya barely reaches Ronit's shoulders and she is very young looking too, still there is a visible chemistry between them, which will prolly only improve and intensify as the story progresses! Ekta has always been a champion at getting her lead actors to click together on screen, don't think she will fail here too!
I felt bad for Santu cause she was the one getting married and she never once mentioned the fact that her would be husband is twice her age...just accepted her fate and got married...and hubby was behaving as if he would rather have chicken pox than stand any moment closer to her!

Did you all notice?

Asiya was sitting on an elevated stool and only THEN did she manage to reach Ronit's shoulders when they were seated .. lol

And even when they were standing, Asiya barely reached his shoulders..heheheh ..

I felt a LOT of chemistry when Dharamraj held out his hand for the hastmilap scene and Santo nervously and shyly put her hand in his .. their first physical connection really touched me as well.. also the way she looked at him after he abruptly took his hand away from underneath hers was another awesome scene .. very very happening indeed!

Sammie and Mru, we are lucky - chemistry definitely che!

Soapie you are right - even a little lax in the storyline is going to reflect very strongly in the viewers' opinon because now Bandini has got us used to superlative performances and a simple yet poignant storyline...in 3 weeks straight!!

DM and Santo are a very interesting pair .. the differences already seeping out just by their physical appearances, their body language .. I loved one nuance which was incorporated by RR .. the way he straightened his hand underneath the shawl after garlanding Santo was AWESOME.. it was like he was doing some important office work .. the akad was intact ..

And what sheer neglect of poor ol Nanaji's emotions and expectations, throwing the garland on his turban, his sign of submission to him and just storming away .. UFFF this man is too much!

The 'Akad' and 'Arrogance' should remain till the day Bandini is on air...that is what will make it different and special from all of Ekta's previous ventures!
Let love bend and mould DM, not break him into pieces! I am loving the way his character has been drawn up till now...prolly one of the most cold and ruthless guys ever to come out of Balaji's writing tables...and RR's portrayal is just amazing, to put it simply! Don't want to see it messed up one bit...

Amen to that ..

The akad really defines DM .. he was SO impatient to get the wedding done with .. even the scene when he's standing with Guruji and Pinakin near the car, overseeing all the workers leave for the factory .. the way he showed Pinakin the time in his watch .. oh my GOD !

So much attitude and what a superiority complex this man has .. but yes as yesterday's episode proved, he has earned that attitude because of his rags-to-riches transition .. he rightfully RULES Dharampur ..

I loved even the way he craned his neck and sat in the car .. a TOTAL maharaj!

He is sukhi... Saw the episode again today, and i'm pretty sure i might end up watching it again over the weekend... RR and asiya were awesome.. The way he walked away from guruji and pinakin just gave us the true power of DM.. And his indifference and arrogance throughout the wedding ceremony and Santu's acceptance.. It was like with each ritual, she was slowly understanding how life was going to be with him, and finally accepting it after he put the mangalsutra... I loved the scene wherein she picks up his end of the gatbandhan and holds on to it like its her lifeline..
Soapie, the height difference is so very endearing.. It makes her seem all the more innocent and him all the more powerful and dominating.. I'm sure Ekta wont fail in this, i mean they've shared a maximum of 30 minutes of screen time together, and we already love them.. In another 30 episodes, with their relationship mainly in focus, then Ekta'll have a true winner on her hands..
