Whatever it is, its probably used as a guiding and training tool to make it easier instead of the trainers using their hands alone. Think it as a teacher using a ruler to point on the board to teach so that the students would pay better attention to the lesson and grasp it.

Ya jan i undrstand. I just thought if tht stick on his body can give him little bit of pain like an injection whn his master is seeing here n there instead of ganesh.Aftrall its supercold these days. Good tht an elephant's skin is hard. I actually shouldn't think of ths all our my cutiepie is vry well enjoying his life with his wellwishers on the set 😊
