Update for Tuesday
Ep 248 by Bluegal

1) recap from the previous ep, thamira tells jeeva how nithi beat her up when thamira attacked aathi. jeeva shouts out "amma!". thamira says she felt more pain in her heart then her head. nithi has repaid thamira in such a way for the milk that she fed her. jeeva says nithi has done it without her knowing the truth and quoted thamira saying she had once told her to bear with whatever nithi is doing. thamira tells jeeva that she don't want anyone to know her own daughter beat her up thus she told jeeva of this matter alone. jeeva leaves and sees surya and prabha waiting outside with a bike each. jeeva walks to prabha and tells him that she came in the bike with surya and will be leaving with him. prabha tells her that he has something important to talk to her but seeing her concentration elsewhere, he tells her that they can talk about it tomorrow instead. jeeva thus, leaves with surya on the bike.

2) shanta house, shanta is feeding lali lovingly and tells her to eat more as she is now eating for 2 persons. they have some cute conversations and lali challenges shanta to carry her and shanta does it. sundara comes just in time to see the romance and coughs to make his presence known. shanta puts her down and both of them invites him in shyly. sundara says he feels happy to know that both of them are no longer angry with sundara and shanta says he was upset previously cause no one in the family cared for their situation they were in. sundara says he has good news and tells them both that nithi has agreed for the "thali pirachal". it will commence once selva returns from mumbai. lali says its a happy news indeed as both selva & nithi has been behaving like a cat & mouse all these while. sundara tells shanta & lali that he came to invite them for the function and also to persuade them to go home. lali says even if they respect sundara & comes for the function or return back home, aathi & nithi will not respect them as seen from their previous behaviour. shanta sides with lali and speaks up with her. lali says they will not be returning home as they are happy where they are and also they have jeeva backing them now. sundara tells them he hopes one day they both will return home and he will be patiently waiting for the day to come and leaves.

3) jeeva on the bike with surya laughing and talking. surya purposely brakes a lot of time so that jeeva falls on him. she tells him to stop the bike and gets down. she tells him to call her "ni, va, po" instead of "neenge, vaange, ponge". she then asks him to get off the bike also and she takes the wheel. she asks him if she is driving well and surya says so far so good but she never once braked. jeeva understood what he was trying to say and tells him to stop it jokingly. a white car comes by and splashes mud (poodle of mud water on the road) onto jeeva's clothes. the driver later puts out his hand & shows a thumbs up signal to surya (obvious its surya's plan) which was unnoticed by jeeva. he tells jeeva that his ex-house which he used to live is just nearby and brings her there. it was empty with no furniture and tells jeeva that since he has moved to his new place, this place is unused. he tells jeeva to go and bathe while he mixes 2 glasses of juice. (im not sure if he has already put anything inside the drink) he flashback to what aathi had told him about raping her with whatever way he could find and himself replying that he will do anything for money and it will costs more for eating the cane. the flashback ends, screen freezes on surya's face and it ends.

will jeeva fall into surya trap? will surya feels his conscience prick? will jeeva sees surya's true colours?
all these waits to be seen and watch out in the next ep!

Update for Wednesday
Ep 249

1) recap from the previous ep, surya makes 2 glasses of juice and puts sleeping pills inside one of the glass while jeeva is bathing (she got splashed by mud earlier, all thanks to surya's plan). he smiles to himself and later jeeva appears and surya gives her the juice. she drinks it up unaware of what surya has put in the drink. jeeva feels giddy after handing an empty glass to surya, she lays down on the bed. surya gives a wicked smile looking at the sleeping jeeva. DANG! back from daydreaming, surya quickly leaves the place with the juice placed neatly on the table. just then poochi comes in wondering why surya has come there for. he sees the juice on the table and finishes it in one gulp thinking surya has added liquor to it. he didn't feel high enough and drinks the other glass too. just then surya comes in, seeing the glasses empty, screws him up. poochi acts like a drunkard but later sobers when surya tells him what he just had was just cool drinks. poochi says thats why he didnt feel high enough. surya tells him jeeva is there and just then she appears from the bathroom and asks to leave. poochi greets her and she leaves first and poochi tells surya that he is feeling sleepy. surya then tells him that he had added sleeping pills to it and rushes after jeeva. poochi just slams down on the floor knocked out 😆

2) poochi watching tv (i got d/c here so don't know if i missed anything, should be surya comes and they have a conversation). scene starts off with surya telling poochi about what aathi said to rape jeeva and he will be paid extra. poochi doesn't agree to it but surya wants to do it for the sake of money. both argue and surya tells him since thats the case, then we shall have nothing to do with each other. poochi tells him that he has conscience and will never agree to do such a thing and leaves sobbing. surya wanted to call him back but didn't in the end. surya shows a sad face.

3) selva in mumbai combing his hair and spraying perfume. he leaves his room just in time to see magila behind him suddenly. he doesn't give her a chance to talk and goes back in to his room and shuts her out. she tries explaining from outside saying she was forced to do it due to circumstances. just then selva comes out of the room and shouts for her to leave. magila tells him not to shout as everyone is looking and says she will leave and starts to walk away as selva watches on. just then she suddenly faints and selva grabs a bottle of water from his room and splashes water on her and calls for a doctor then carries her inside his room. the doctor visits and after checking her up, he informs selva that magila is in danger and asks him to inform her family. its very dangerous for her to be alone by herself at her condition. upon selva's prodding, the doctor reveals that magila is suffering from blood cancer and is in the chronic stages. selva is shocked and the screen freezes on him. it ends.

seems the story is turning in a different angle... no comments..

Sorry for the delay guys, i was busy today.
wow wow guys today got new opening pics involving magila. all i saw was bits and pieces, you know why cause i was watching a powerpoint slide. i saw magila in sari and looking very different. don't tell me he brings her home to take care of her!?!?

Update for Thursday
Ep 250

1) recap from the previous ep, the doctor gives a check-up to magila and informs selva that she is suffering from blood cancer and is in the chronic stages and needs someone by her side. (i have a feeling, magila is using this trick to make selva fall into her trap again... we shall wait & see). the doctor asks selva to inform magila's family members. (i bet selva is going to end up taking care of magila to bother about nithi & her letter). selva looks shock. the doc tells him that she has fainted before and the room boy has called him and that was when he found out about her condition after checking her up. he goes on to say that she will not last another 3 months and leaves. selva sits beside a sleeping magila and flashback to one of their past conversations.

2) jeeva's house, baba invites jeeva to eat but she declines saying she is meeting surya. baba advises her not to travel in the bike with surya as it might cast a bad impression on their clients. he says he is not stopping her but it'll be better to travel in a car for image sake. jeeva says she likes riding on the bike and does not bother what others say. just then prabha walks in and asks her if she is free as he wants to bring her to see ganga. jeeva agrees and walks out with prabha to see surya waiting outside with his bike. she excuses herself from prabha and informs surya that she needs to go out for some matter with regards to her mum's case and tells him to go to work and that they can meet in the evening instead. surya asks her to go ahead and prabha & jeeva leave in jeeva's car followed by surya hot on their heels secretly. jeeva starts a conversation with prabha asking if he is angry with her as she can sense it. prabha nicely puts its saying he doesn't and everyone has reasons for doing certain things. jeeva apologieses to prabha about lying that her car was in the shed the day before thus she was getting a ride from surya (ok i missed this out in my previous update). prabha says that he is not a fool to not know this as he is a lawyer and can sense it out. he says he doesn't want to be around people who lies to him.

3) jeeva says sorry and that she didn't do it intentionally. she later tells him that she has something important to say and tells him that she is in love with surya. prabha says she is going the wrong way and should turn right. jeeva says what and he continues to say that he was talking about the road route. there was some silence and jeeva breaks the silence asking him what does he think about her liking surya. prabha does not look happy and says his opinion doesn't matter. jeeva talks about prabha liking kalpana and didn't she give them the blessings. she keeps asking if he likes surya or not and he finally says he does not have a good opinion of surya. jeeva again repeats saying when prabha liked kalpana, she agreed with him also then why does he not like surya. prabha says jeeva likes kalpana but prabha doesn't like surya. he goes on to say that it maybe due to the fact that he did not have much chances to interact with him and if he gets to know surya better, he might have a different opinion. still he asks jeeva to reconsider her feelings for surya and after pausing for a moment, she says ok. prabha says he is glad that jeeva is taking his advise and asks to turn left after a distance and stop. surya still following them behind unnoticed. jeeva & prabha stop the car outside a dilapidated house. jeeva asks prabha is this the place and he says yes, this is where he (ganga) is staying and they both start to walk in. some beating sound is heard and surya tried to peep in. screen freezes on surya.

thats about all i can capture, any tiny details i might have missed out, our dearest atina will fill it.
there is going to be a big portion of magila's story coming up so be prepared! as if i know 😆

Update for Friday (today's ep was smooth thus i was able to grab some shots of new faces that will be appearing - see bottom for pics)
Ep 251

1) recap from the previous ep, jeeva & prabha enters the old house and surya follows suit. ganga is being beaten up by prabha's police friend (forgot his name). jeeva looks at ganga and tells him she is still alive even after he had shot her earlier. surya manages to open a window to spy. jeeva asks how was ganga caught and prabha flashback, police & prabha were hot on ganga's heels (escaping in his red car) and when ganga threatened to shoot the police, prabha sneaked up from behind & hits ganga with a thick rod, thus he was caught. since then, ganga has been locked up at this place. surya hears and watches all these from his hiding place.

2) prabha says it will be dangerous if ganga is sent to the police and he turn the tables on them. he continues to say that since that time, jeeva was in hospital thus he didn't inform her earlier. jeeva says there is only a week to get ganga to vomit out everything. the police friend says he will give him a worser treatment to make him tell the truth. jeeva threatens ganga to reveal the truth and that in return, she will drop the attempted murder charge on him but he shows no response. jeeva and prabha leaves but jeeva turns back to tell the police friend that her mum must be released no matter what and hopes he does his best. prabha & the police friend tells her they will handle this matter and will get the truth out from ganga. they leave with the police friend starting his job. surya also leaves from his hiding place (apparently, he will be reporting this to aathi later i suppose). in mumbai, magila awakes and asks selva if the doctor has told him everything. she goes on to say that when she first heard about it, she couldn't take it wither like him but as time goes on, she learned to accept her fate. she only found out about her conditon on the day of their engagement. she had didn't have the courage to tell him the truth thus she ran away.

3) magila says even damu doesn't know about her blood cancer issue but she told damu to inform selva that she had run away and damu did it dutifully. she was unable to forget him and decided on suicide but was saved by a good person (i couldn't hear what she said on who saved her). she decided to go to mumbai to start her modelling career to forget her pain but didn't expect to bang into selva. (selva is tearing) magila says she knows selva is married and that she had came to tell selva about her condition after meeting him. selva calls 'magila' and she says it has been a long time since she heard him call her name. she says now she can die in peace and leaves. selva flashback to all the bad things he encountered with nithi since the forced marriage and also the present magila's speech about how she can't live without him. it ends.

Update for Monday (i used the view the US time screening but it buffered like crazy every min)
Ep 252

1) jeeva is serving lali & shanta food at her own house. shanta praises her saying, its good enough to have a kind heart to serve although she didn't cook it, they appreciate her effort. jeeva asks lali to eat more as she is pregnant then she starts to talk about aathi a bit (didn't really catch what she said). shanta informs jeeva that he has found an office and paid the deposit and will be starting soon. baba advises them to get their parents to light the vilakku for them to start the office. jeeva suggests to invite sundara but shanta explains that since his family don't really care for him when he was in dire straits, there is no point inviting them.

2) shanta goes on to explain that during the ganga issue, no one really bothered. if it weren't for nithi's thali pirachal, sundara would not have visited them. jeeva feels happy upon hearing that. lali asks jeeva whether she feels angry towards nithi for siding with aathi. jeeva explains that she loves nithi alot and that she is manipulated by aathi thus nithi does not know who is the real villain. jeeva goes on to explain that its shanta & lali who are making a mistake as sundara genuinely cares for them. after the small conversation, shanta & lali leave. nithi in her bedroom walking about thinking something(the screen just freezed for a moment, bad buffer). i can only hear audio, so i just guess. nithi calls selva and asks about the previous time the line got cut. selva tells her the reception was bad thus it got cut. he asks her to repeat it but she says that she will tell him when he is back. nithi asks if anything happen and he was about to say something (sorry i couldn't catch what selva said, he mentioned something like he was reading a book just then selva's doorbell rings and magila's voice is heard. selva asks her to come in and nithi seemed to have overheard a lady's voice and looks surprised.

3) selva continues to tell nithi that a friend fainted while magila stands nearby and watch. he tells her he will call her again and hangs up. magila and selva exchanges a weird look. magila quiries who was on the line and asks him if its his wife. selva doesn't answer but avoids looking at her. she asks him why had he asked her to come to see him. selva tells her he did something without telling her. he says he has booked an appointment with a famous doctor so that she can seek his opinion. he continues to say that he is unable to bring her to see that doctor as he is returning back home. magila says for what does she need to go since if she died, no one will shed tears for her. (thats it guys i get a permanent freeze with no video or audio so someone pls finish it for me.) by the time i got the audio back, it was playing the ending song.

i think only selva,nithi,magi story seem to be getting a momentum other than jeeva & surya, the rest of the story have dulled...

i think IF has changed the default fonts? sometimes the fonts looks normal and other times the words looks small & squeezed.

Update for Tuesday
Ep 253

1) recap from the previous ep, magila telling selva how lovingly he was talking to nithi which is a fact and she asks him to carefully travel home while she carefully goes "up". she gets up to leave but selva grabs her hand to prevent her from leaving but soon lets go gently. he calls the travel agency and cancels his air ticket to chennai for the following day and tells magila that he will bring her to the hospital instead. when magila tries to tell him not to, he butts in and says he will take care of this matter. he calls room service for food and invites magila to eat with him. (frankly speaking, magila doesn't look like a cancer patient to me when she can continue to be a model. i think she thought up of this trick to seduce back selva since she knows that nithi married him furthermore if she can find out he is married, she can also find out that his married life is not smooth also.)

2) poochi drowning his sorrow in liquor in a wine shop, mumbling to himself to saying surya should live well. the drunkard from the previous story (the one who sold venky the cellphone) appears and chat with poochi. poochi breaks open a plastic water packet & splashes the water at him then continues to drink and mumble again. that drunkard ask poochi if he has separated from pottu and poochi blurts out that the goondu something has paid surya money to "spoil" jeeva. he then ask the drunkard who is he to ask him questions and he says he is poochi's manasaathchi (conscience) and asks him to speak the truth. poochi goes on to tell that aathi told surya to rape jeeva and that she will pay him 16 lax for that. the drunkard thinks for a while and tells poochi that he shouldn't have separated with pottu as he will be alone now and also poor at that. the drunkard tells poochi to patch back with pottu so that he can also enjoy the money. he tells poochi that he will accompany him to see pottu and will help them patch up and both leaves the wine shop.

3) jeeva follows sundara around and he asks her what does she want. he asks her to leave in an angry tone. jeeva tells sundara that shanta needs his blessings on the 27 of the month. she tells him that shanta has opened a new company and is inviting him to grace the occassion. shanta feels embarrased to invite him personally cause he has declined sundara's invitation earlier when he invited him for nithi's thali pirichal thus jeeva is here to invite him on his behalf. sundara agrees and jeeva leaves happily. surya reports to aathi that he saw ganga being tied, locked up and beaten by prabha & another guy. surya tells her that this is a brand new case and that she has to pay him to reveal the whereabouts of ganga. aathi tells surya that she don't need him to find out his location. surya tells aathi that ganga might reveal the truth (before she finds him) from the terrible beatings he has received so far and tells aathi that he heard them talking about aathi killing a man called thillai 20 yrs ago. aathi is shocked. surya uses this opportunity to tell her that not only he can tell her the location, he can also abduct ganga and bring him to aathi but she has to pay him. it ends before aathi could reply.

Update for Wednesday
Ep 254

1) recap from the previous ep, surya says he heard them saying aathi killed thillai 20yrs ago and says wonder what else is ganga going to blabber. he suggests she pay him and he will abduct ganga and bring him to her. aathi says she made a mistake of not 'closing' ganga then & there. surya says if she delays any further, jeeva & prabha might bring ganga to the police and make him spit out the truth. aathi thinks for a while and agrees to surya's suggestion and tells him to abduct ganga and bring him to her and she will pay him money. surya tells aathi to get the money ready and he will be back soon with ganga and leaves.

2) its the thali pirichal occassion and sundara & nithi are waiting outside. aathi comes out and tells nithi to go and change her sari. aathi's friends from the ladies club comes and one of the lady comments that sundara is looking very smart (haha aathi looks jealous and tells sundara to go in). sundara says he is waiting outside for some of his important friends to come but was called in by aathi to bless nithi and give her the sari. sundara goes back outside the house to wait and nithi goes up to change and tries to call selva but is unable to get through. she later calls the indian airlines to check if the flight has arrived and was told that it has arrived an hr ago. she hangs up and goes to change into her sari. aathi comes out to get some truth from sundara as to who is he actually waiting for and he finally says its shanta as this occassion calls for a reunion. aathi scolds him and tells him to come inside. nithi comes down in her sari looking very beautiful.

she tells sundara that she called the airlines earlier and it arrived 1 hr before. thomas (driver) calls sundara and tells him that selva was not in any flight and ask him if he should just come home. sundara tells him to come and hangs up. he later tells nithi that selva must have missed his flight and he might be coming in the next flight which is at 3pm. he asks aathi to bring nithi in and get ready for the preparation.

3) selva (in mumbai) visits magila in her room and asks her why is she not ready to go to the hospital. selva tells her not to be stubborn. magila questions him saying she has assumed he would say he had missed the flight just for her but here she is not ready to go to the hospital with him. she says she already received the same responses (telling her to take pills and make herself happy during the last portion of her life) from many doctors and have no wish to see any more doctors. (this shows that magila might be lying). selva keeps forcing her to go and she plays with her chain. when selva grabs her hand suddenly to pull her with him, the chain falls off and the locket opens up to show selva's picture inside. magila says its the same locket that selva presented to her for her birthday and that it has been keeping her company since then. she tells him that she will see the doctor with him if he will do her a small favour which is to put on the chain for her. back in aathi's house, aathi's friends are putting manjal on nithi's face. back to magila, she asks him will he put on the chain for her. (selva considers while looking at his picture inside the locket). back to nithi, aathi puts some kungumam and jasmine flower on the thali and puts in on for nithi. at the same time, selva also puts on the chain for magila. THODARUM...

Update for Thursday
Ep 255

1) recap from the previous ep, selva puts on the chain for magila and she goes to change so that she can leave with him. over at aathi's house, aathi puts on the thali with kungumam & flowers on for nithi admist her sad looking face of selva not being present. (that was basically what happened in the first part)

2) the drunkard brings poochi to surya and helps them patch up and he ask for a share in the loot if surya manages to correct jeeva. surya hearing that, gives both of them a punch (think of it in an funny way). he goes to get a rod to beat them but both the guys cries at his feet and surya finally agrees to share the loot with them. surya later tells poochi alone that whatever money he gets from aathi will go to himself & poochi and poochi got to share his half with that drunkard. he tells him that if he can't then chase the drunkard away. shanta & lali's new company's opening occassion, shanta invites jeeva to light the kuthu vilakku. jeeva thanks him for asking her but says that an elderly person would be a better choice to do it. she says she has already found someone to do and is going to call him now and shanta tells her to go ahead as he believes whatever she does is for a good reason.

3) jeeva calls sundara to light the vilakku (which surprises shanta but feels happy on seeing him) but he in turn gives the job to jeeva and she finally gets to light it. shanta thanks sundara for coming and that he appreciates it. sundara tells shanta to thank jeeva instead as she was the main person in bringing them together. selva in (mumbai) hospital's doctor's room. he asks the doctor if magila can survive but the doctor tells him that she is in the last stages of cancer and may die in a few days or a few mths. he asks selva to keep magila happy for the period she is alive. selva comes out of the room to magila who is waiting for him outside. once magila sees selva's sad face, she tells him that she already knows what the doctor has told him. magila tells selva that she is tired of all these speeches by the doctors. selva to console her, tells her that he is here for her. THODARUM...

sorry for the short summary, i was multitasking thus i don't know if i missed any important conversation. by the way i saw the ending theme song and there were so many cute & funny NG scenes especially selva ones where he sticks out his tongue.
