Episode 187

Adhi holding a knife at Jeeva's throat and telling her that you are always telling me that you want me to admit about the murder. Yes, I admit that I only killed your father and I only framed that murder on your mother and sent her to jail. Now you can go and do anything you like. When I can do this much to your mother, you are after all just a chundaikaai,she tells Jeeva. This knife that I am holding is not a spring knife but a real knife and so I can finish you off just now but I am not doing it because I want to see you suffer defeat at my hands.

Now she pushes Jeeva outside saying "pizhaitchi Po" and goes away leaving Jeeva to cast a wry look at the speeding vehicle .

Kalpana visits Prabhakar and tells him she is very angry with what he did. he pretends not to understand and then she says that he should have helped Jeeva to get bail for that warehouse guard. Prabha says it was a question of principles and what Jeeva did was not right really. He says by doing it, so many employees in Adhi's granite company will be affected and what will Jeeva say about that, he asks. He says we don't correct one wrong by doing another wrong.

Adhi visits the police station and finds that the guard has been released on bail.The ploice officer offers to give the guard's address but Adhi says she knows her employee's residence.

Now Adhi visits the guard at his residence. (definite blunder by Jeeva here--she should have kept this guard away from Adhi in a safe house)

She threatens the guard and puts her hand on his throat and the guard gets very nervous and tells her what the police could not get out of him!

He says a woman came in bike and gave money for pouring the liquid on the tiles. Now she says she will tell the police and he has to tell the same thing.

Prabha/kalpana/jeeva again discussing in jeeva's house and Prabhakar apologises to jeeva for not accepting her request for bail and he assures her that this will have no effect on her mother's case and he will handle that as before.Jeeva says she did not think in any bad way about Prabha and in fact she admired him for keeping to his principles at such a young age. More praise of Prabhakar by Jeeva and Kalpana changes colour a little--very subtle change only and not too blatant and hence we may not see any developments on this angle immediately!

About Thamira case, Prabhakar says he has traced a auto driver who used to take Vanaja regularly and he has found that driver to have become suddenly very rich. Earlier, that guy could not even afford the auto rentals and now he is owning 3 autos and doing some money lending also. Jeeva says this is a good clue and we need to go further into this.

Natraj also comes now and joins in the discussions.

Now the police is seen coming to Jeeva's house and tells her that she is under arrest. Adhi is behind the police vehicle waiting outside.

Sorry everyone, due to SUN TV signal disturbance, I could not get the 1st part properly and here is the story on what I could get to see.

Nithila telling Selva that when he touches her it is like a "kambali poochi" and Selva is too shocked to react. Nithila goes away and Selva looks at her with a sad face.

Adhi in the court entrance discussing with her lawyer. He is very confident of success in the case and says we have all the evidence against Jeeva and she can't escape. Now Natraj comes with Jeeva and he gives a big "kumbudu" to Adhi who shouts at them. Jeeva also smiles at Adhi mischievously .

The court proceedings start and Adhi's lawyer says jeeva paid the watchman money and gave him high power acid to pour on the tiles so that they were broken.

Now Jeeva is on the witness stand and she tells about Adhi living in her father's house and also about the case filed by jeeva against Adhi for recovering the house. Adhi looks obviously displeased to hear about the stories about her grabbing Thillai's house to come in open court.

Jeeva's lawyer says that Adhi's granite firm is a well established firm and they have no desire to fight with such a firm. Adhi's lawyer says how do you think that we might have done this sabotage ourselves --he says it was done by Jeeva only.

Now the watchman is called and he says someone gave him the acid to pour on the tiles in return for money paid. Jeeva's lawyer asks him whether you are really telling the truth or telling a story which someone told you to tell.

The watchman admits someone told him to tell. Adhi is too shocked to hear this. Further the watchman says Adhi's henchmen only gave him the acid to pour on the tiles and Adhi is, of course, totally stunned .

Thodarum.

So the director has opted for a different line of defence for jeeva, when Spain and myself expected the watchman to point at Nithila!

Thanks dasa sir. The first part of Monday's episode:

A group of police women storm into Jeeva's house (Jeeva, Natraj, Prabhakar, & Kalpana are there) and a lady police asks, "Who is Jeeva?" Jeeva asserts herself and the police says, "You are under arrest!!" Everyone stands shocked and speechless, including Natraj. Prabhakar introduces himself as Jeeva's lawyer to the lady police and asks the reason for the arrest. The lady police says the security guard has written a complaint that Jeeva is responsible for the destruction of granite marbles at Ganapathy Granites. Prabhakar is not able to support Jeeva's actions here, but he does ask the lady police if she has an arrest warrant to take Jeeva away. She says yes, she does have a warrant and shows it to Jeeva. Now Aadhi (who was waiting outside the house) walks in triumphantly into Jeeva's house and asks Jeeva, "Ey, what happened? No expression on your face? That is an arrest warrant in your hands....now go with the police...your mother must be waiting for you in jail...go and sit with her behind bars and have a nice time! Ha ha ha..." Aadhi is overjoyed by Jeeva's plight. Nevertheless, Jeeva remains calm and dignified and says, "Wait, Aadhi Madam. Don't laugh so soon...." she requests the lady police to wait for a minute & Jeeva goes inside a room to bring a document (oh, while Jeeva goes to bring the document...Aadhi gives a nasty look to both Kalpana & Prabhakar, who are waiting with her in the living room). Jeeva brings the document and shows it to the lady police. The lady police looks through it and keeps silent. Aadhi getting impatient, looks at the police and asks, "Ey, what is written there?" The police says, "Sorry Madam. Jeeva has already applied for bail before the complaint was given...so we cannot arrest her!" And the police walk out. Aadhi looks paralyzed and numb, while Prabhakar and Kalpana are stunned. Natraj beams a big smile while Jeeva goes up to Aadhi and asks her with a wicked smile, "Enna, Madam? What happened? No expression on your face? Now it is you who has to follow the police and leave my house!" Aadhi is furious. Jeeva continues, "If you want to defeat me....no, no, no...if you even think of defeating me....I would jump to any extreme to defeat you back!" Aadhi remains numb and outraged and leaves her house. Prabhakar, Kalpana and Natraj praise Jeeva for her wise act. Prabhakar once again apologizes to Jeeva for not being able to help her in this regard, but as the lawyer for her mother's case....he promises to do everything to help her out. With that, Kalpana and Prabhakar take leave. And Jeeva and Natraj happily continue their carrom board game.

The next scene. Nithila with high temperature is lying on her bed. Lalitha comes to look after her, tells her she will give her hot water to drink. Nithila searches the room for Selva, but keeps silent. Lalitha tells her that Selva was devastated to know that Nithila has fever, he took the day off from work and went to buy medicines for her. Once again Lalitha tries to lecture Nithila about Selva's love for her and tells her to accept him....but to no avail. Nithila remains stubborn and doesn't respond to Lalitha's lectures. Lalitha leaves, Selva comes and watches Nithila sleeping. He sits in the room, making sure that she comfortable. (This scene is similar to the hospital scenes of Selva, where Nithila came to look after him when he was recovering from the car accident). Shantha walks into the bedroom and asks Selva to come to office, but Selva says he is too concerned about Nithila's health...Shantha pacifies him and says he will go alone to office and asks Selva to take care of Nithila. Selva continues to sit in the room, Nithila gets up to go to the bathroom but is very weak and feeble. As she walks, she is about to faint and Selva runs to catch her in his arms. Nithila rudely tells him to let go of her, he says if he lets go...she might fall, she says that's okay...she says she doesn't mind falling, but when he touches her it feels like a "kambali poochi" crawling on her skin. Selva immediately lets go of her. Selva is too stunned and offended to react and Nithila walks away from him. (This scene looked like another rip-off from the famous Revathy-Mohan act in Mani Ratnam's "Mouna Ragam").

The rest of the update follows just as dasa sir has written it. In the last scene of Monday's episode, the watchman not only testifies that it was Aadhi who paid money and told him to pour the acid, but also that she she wanted to do it so that she can claim insurance for the damaged property!
So just like rojapooo assumed, the court warns Aadhi for cheating the insurance company as well. This comes in today's episode and the good reputation that Ganapathy Granites once had is totally destroyed...with the blame falling back on Aadhi, the company's MD.

I won't give the details of today's episode. But a new character is introduced today.
He is actor Venkat (Shyam from Anandham).

Thanks a lot Spain for filling in the missing parts in yesterday's episode.

The judge says that Adhi is the person who had wanted to do revenge against Jeeva and also as per the watchman's testimony, it is clear that Adhi's intention was to put the blame on Jeeva first and later get the money from insurance. He asks the insurance company to start proceedings against Adhi for trying to defraud them.
Adhi is too shocked and leaves. Natraj congratulates Jeeva. Their lawyer meets them and Jeeva tells Natraj that we should protect that watchman from Adhi and the lawyer also concurs.

Selva comes home and is in a angry mood and tells Nithila what a bad person is your sister and tells that he heard what happened in court through someone else. H says his blood is boiling because it is a big loss of 10 crores . He again and again mentions 10 crores when Nithila keeps quiet all the time. Finally Nithila erupts asking him what he expects her to do. She says she has already told that she is not considering jeeva as her sister. Selva says so far he was not believing Nithila whenever she spoke bad about jeeva and he just thought her intention was to help her mother come out of the jail but now he feels that Nithila was quite right in her judgement about jeeva.
Nithila now starts to go out saying she will prove that what she says about Jeeva is right.

Nithila goes to jeeva's office and gets a welcome from jeeva. But Nithila is in no mood for that and starts a confrontation right away. She says what right you have to do such sabotage in the warehouse. Jeeva says Adhi sent her henchmen to ransack the office and also beat up Baba and this is truly a question of eye for eye and tooth for tooth, she asserts. Nithila says Adhi would never had done like that and you have no right to even utter her name. Jeeva looks like pitying her sister for her ignorance. Nithila says don't think you can destroy Ganapathi granites in this way, I will do everything to bring up the company. From now on, I will be your worst enemy, she tells Jeeva who is surprised at Nithila's talk.

Kalpana with Prabha in car and she praises Jeeva for her smart way in which she defeated Adhi. She says you missed a great scene in court.
Prabha is not much impressed and ays Jeeva may be clever but now she is following the same path as Adhi.Kalpana interjects and says that is for achieving the truth.
Now the place where they were going has come and that is the auto driver's house who takes Vanaja.
That driver's wife looks too haggard and says her husband is drunk always and does not give money and she has to struggle to being up the children. Prabha tells her that your husband has got 3 autos now and how come he does like this. The wife says after getting 3 autos only it has become worse because he is now totally on booze and hints that he is with some woman also. Prabha gets her husband's mobile number from her and gives some money to her.

Natraj doing meditation and jeeva hesitatingly wants to talk something to him. Finally Natraj himself asks whether it fot doing "thithi" for her father. Jeeva asks how you know what I had in mind. Natraj says he is not believing like a father to her and rather as a friend. So she need not hesitate so much.

In Adhi's house, Sundara, Selva, Shanta are all waitng for Adhi but she has not yet reached home. Driver Thomas says Adhi told him to leave the car and she herself took it. Sundara wonders whether she might do something rash because of the defeat in the court case. She is seen on the road driving fast and thinking about all the confrontation dialogues with Jeeva so far. Shanta telephones her and she ignores the call. Now Nithila phones her and she answers saying no need to worry about her , she will be home soon.
It is a remote deserted area that Adhi is driving furiously and now we see 2 people standing on side of the road. One of them si Venkat (or shyam from anandham). They hold a wooden peg with iron nails hammered into the peg.
First Venkat's colleague throws the peg in the path of a car but the car easily avoids the peg. Venkat says you are useless and waits for the next target. Adhi;s car comes now and Venkat throws the wooden block and Adhi's car gets trapped and stops immediately.
Adhi gets down and gets annoyed at what happened to the tyre.
She looks around and Venkat and his friend gleefully step forward.

1. Aadhi's car tyre gets punctured on a deserted road. Venkat and his pal (who were responsible for her tyre puncture & who were silent on-lookers from behind a tree) innocently come forward and offer to help pump the tyre. They demand money for the work, Aadhi agrees. In the process, they puncture another spare tyre in the car (Aadhi believes it was previously punctured and her driver Thomas was careless about it)...and tell Aadhi they will fix both tyres, but only for a huge sum of money. Aadhi (already annoyed) agrees & says take the money from me later, get the tyres fixed immediately. They roll both the tyres on the road happily and disappear. Aadhi is left waiting on the middle of a road, and realizes that something is wrong. She later comes to know that she has been cheated by two crooks called "Pottu" (that's Venkat) and "Poochi" (his friend). It seems they are two small-time thieves who usually stand at the side of a deserted road, throw wooden pegs with attached nails on the road, get tyres punctured, offer help, steal the tyres and sell them off for big bucks to a workshop. Aadhi feels degraded and insulted to be fooled by two low-class thieves.

2. Aadhi returns home, without her car. All her family members ask her why she returned so late. With an irritated face, Aadhi keeps silent and goes to her room. In her room, Nithila consoles Aadhi by saying that she knows how miserable Aadhi must be feeling to loose 10 crores, so Nithila went & blasted Jeeva. Nithila says she has challenged Jeeva as her worst enemy and says that she will bring back Ganapathy Granites back to its good position. Aadhi is pleasantly surprised to hear all this, but is absolutely delighted when Nithila says she is even willing to give up her life for her. Finally, Aadhi has hope on her side....knowing that Nithila is fully under her spell.

3. Driver Thomas gets Aadhi's car repaired and tells her the bill came to a huge amount, for unncessarily getting two tyres punctured. She gets irritated to know it was those two crooks who did it, and even they had the guts to ask her money for it. She decides to teach those guys a lesson, and tells her driver Thomas within one hour, both those little thieves should be in front of her eyes. Thomas agrees and goes to find them. Aadhi says she will teach them a good lesson for fooling around with her.

4. The auto driver (who became the owner of 3 autos following Venky's death) comes to Prabhakar's office regarding an auto rental deal. Prabhakar fakes an excuse for his auto rental and asks about his charging rate. As their conversation proceeds, Kalpana is also sitting with them and she notices that the auto driver has kept his mobile on Prabha's desk, while talking. Kalpana cautiously (without both their knowledge) slips the auto driver's mobile in her hands, excuses herself and says she will return with refreshments, and quickly moves to another room. There, while the two men are in conversation, Kalpana takes out the sim card of the auto driver's mobile, transfers it to her mobile (so that the contact numbers can be copied & stored on her phone) and goes to get drinks. The copying process takes some time. Meanwhile, the auto driver finalizes an auto rental deal with Prabhakar and he decides to leave. Just then, he searches for his mobile...and says he kept it on the table while speaking, but now it's missing. Prabhakar helps him search for the mobile. Simultaneously, in the next-door room, the auto driver's sim card is in Kalpana's mobile and her mobile screen says "167 contacts copied". The screen freezes on her mobile screen.

Episode 192

Starts with yesterday's scene when Jeeva is talking to her mother. Thamira gets nostalgic when she remembers Nithila as a child playing on a swing with her father. Jeeva tells her that she has seen her mother only recently and also in these circumstances. She says she has not seen her father at all. Thamira agrees with jeeva about keeping "thithi" for jeeva's father and says your father's soul will surely be happy . Jeeva says we three (referring to nithila,jeeva and mother) are all separate and ideally we should all be together and do this thithi but now at least let both of us do that .
Thamira is very happy and says she will come.

Police push Pottu and Thomas into jail where they meet another guy inside. That guy asks Pottu about what happened. Pottu says he cheated someone for Rs.3000 over a card game and that person complained to police who came and picked him up. Then that guy makes fun of Thomas also.

Now Adhi comes there and Thomas comes and tells her that police picked him also by mistake. Adhi tells him not to worry. She tells the inspector, who greets her with lot of respect, to release both Thomas and pottu. Pottu is surprised and says may be she wants to beat me up later.
They both come out with Adhi and pottu tries to escape but Adhi and Thomas insist that he should come with them. Pottu says why should I come to your place and get fried?
Adhi says don't worry, I need to talk to you. Now Poochi also comes and pottu says he will come only if poochi is also allowed into Adhi's house. Poochi says why you are putting me in trouble. Pottu says we are friends and so we will share any adversity also together.
Adhi agrees and all proceed to Adhi's house.

Prabha with Kalpana and they decide to check out the 3 Vanajas found in the auto driver's mobile. Kalpana asks Prabha to give some ideas how to proceed but Prabha says he can't think any idea. Kalpana makes fun of him saying lying is a common asset for all lawyers and so this should be pretty easy for you. Prabha gets annoyed and says he is a exception to the rule for lawyers.
Kalpana now thinks and dials vanaja-1 and tells her that she found the number by random and wants to give a offer of a trip and asks about their family details. The same technique is used for 1st 2 Vanajas and they find that both vanajas are from normal families.
Now the 3rd vanaja is tried and as the mobile is switched off, they decide to check out later.

Adhi and co reach the guest house. Adhi tells Thomas to get the men inside.
They are reluctant too come but are persuaded by Thomas to come inside. Adhi sits in the sofa but Pottu/poochi stand behind her and are reluctant to sit on the sofa. They prefer to sit on the floor but adhi tells them that they are her guests. They both are in lungis and Adhi turns her face at the way they sit in sofa but she controls herself and starts talking.
Now they listen to Adhi who tells them that she is impressed (!) by their skill in defrauding people. She says she does not want to see them do small time jobs for few rupees and tells Pottu that she has a job for him and gives the photo of Jeeva.
Pottu looks at the photo and says she looks good and who is this really? Adhi says she is giving lot of trouble to me and I want you to make a romantic angle with her and make her madly in love with you and finally ditch her.

Pottu is horrified and says he is just doing some small level crime but this seems to be serious which can land him jail for ever.. Adhi threatens that if she wants,she can put both of them inside on some false cases and so she says they have to obey her.
Still Pottu is hesitant and Adhi now tells her final offer of 1 Lakh rupees for the deal
Hearing one lakh, Pottu/poochi's mouths are wide open!

Episode 193
Monday June 25, 2007

Pottu talking to Adhi and tells her that lots of girls in his slum are chasing him but he has not fallen with anyone and hence he can't accept her offer of making Jeeva in love with him. Adhi offers him 1 lakh Rupees which makes both Poochi and pottu gasp and Pottu asks Poochi whether he knows how many zeros are there in 1 lakh. Pooch tries but can't figure out. Pottu tells Adhi that he is not ready for this sort of a game and he will rather back out. He says in case he also falls in love, there will be more trouble.
They now proceed to leave but Adhi raises the stake to 3 lakhs and says she will pay the full money in advance before you start the job and they hesitate. Now Adhi raises the bar to 5 lakhs and that is more than enough to get them in line.
They both run to her and pottu says he is ready to do whatever she says.

Jeva talking to Natraj and says she is going to Prabha to meet him. He says why do you want to go there to meet him--why don't you give a call to him on mobile. She says she feels like talking to him now. Natraj now thinks about what she told earlier about Natraj that she liked Prabha being so transparent.
Now suddenly Prabha turns up there to their surprise. Natraj says 100 years to you and Jeeva says think of the devil and you are there. Prabha asks whether he is the devil or what and jeeva says jokes apart, I need to know what is the status of my mother's bail application.
Prabha says there is nothing to worry about because we have got the bail for a week. We can pick up her now.
Natraj tells jeeva that Thamira has to go back safely after the parole. He asks Prabha what will happen if she fails to return to jail. He himself answers saying that he will go to jail. Jeeva asks Natraj why you are talking like that. ( Looks to be a pointer to what might happen--Adhi may have kidnap plans for thamira!)

Adhi calls everyone to the hall and says Nithila is going to tell a very interesting proposal. All come to hall. Lalitha murmurs to shanta that how Adhi who is normally a dictator is now getting their views also. Shanta tells her to keep quiet for some time.

Adhi says Nithila told her a very interesting proposal and now encourages her to tell the idea to everyone. Nithi hesitates but goes ahead. She says we have lost around 10 crores and our clients are also jittery whether we will meet their requirements. Now we can asks our workers to woork overtime and thus increase the output whereby we can satisfy demand.
Shanta hurriedly asks even if we satisfy the clients, our wage bill will increase and what we will do then? Adhi rebukes him saying listen to her fully. Selva keeps on appreciating her (he rarely only gets such a chance!).
Nithila continues and says the workers know the condition of our company and hence if we tell them that we will take a free insurance policy for them in lieu of the overtime wages, then they will surely cooperate. Again Shanta says insurance bill will also be more and so what will you do. Adhi again says listen to Nithila.
She says insurance policy is only 250 rupees per month premium and hence we will save lots of overtime and also increase productivity. Now everyone appreciates her for a wonderful idea.
When they leave, Adhi thanks Sundara for doing a sensible thing by bringing Nithila as her marumagal. Sundara says this is the 1st time that you have thanked me for such a thing.

Jeeva and Prabha at the jail and Thamira comes out and both Jeeva and thamira get very emotional. Thamira says breathing free air is so blissful and gets sad at thinking she has to go back to jail after 7 days. Jeeva says don't think about bad things when good things are happening to you.

Natraj talking to vadhyar and asks him about doing thithi for thillainathan who died a abnormal death. Vadhyar says we can do it near a lake,well or a river.
Now jeeva comes with Thamira and Natraj sees her and both are a little shocked. Thamira thanks Natraj for taking care of her child so far after she handed over jeeva as a baby to him. She also thanks him for readily agreeing to hand over to her now. She says she heard from jeeva how much sacrifice Natraj had to do.
Natraj says it was just his duty and he did that and there is nothing more than that. Natraj introduces jeeva to vadhyar who asks him who will do the thithi. Vadhyar says only male heirs can do it--if not, any male relative can do it. Thamitra says Thillai's brother is there and he can do it. Jeeva is surprised and asks who is that person and you have never told me about him so far.
Thamira says natraj is her husband's udanpirava brother (how do we put in english such a phrase !)
Natraj folds his hands and says thanks for such a great acknowledgement. Thamira says you deserve it fully.

I was busy yesterday and hence the late update and I am not sure how much I can remember.

Adhi comes home and tells everyone triumphantly what a great job Nithila has done. Lalitha serving food to Shanta and is stunned by what Adhi is saying.
Selva of course is glad. Adhi says when the workers were informed about the insurance proposal, they were very glad and accepted the offer and even started working overtime today itself.
She says at this rate, vey soon we will be able to overcome the loss. Lalitha is very much kadu kadu and she rebukes Shanta for listening with so much enthusiasm.
Adhi comes to Nithila and says she must do something for her and offers her necklace to her spontaneously. More kadu kadu from Lalitha who scarcely can bear all this!
Nithila declines the gift saying she only did her duty. Nithila goes leaving Adhi stunned at the refusal to accept the gift. Shanta starts to eat and Lalitha takes away the plate and drags him upstairs saying damn the food, we have more important things to talk!

Lalitha talks to Shanta and vents her anger. She says how dare your mother treats one marumagal like me in a bad way and on other hand appreciates Nithila like this. She says you are also a son her and you have equal rights like everyone and so if Nithila can be made suddenly as MD, I also want to get some position in our office.
She asks what big thing that Nithila has done so that Adhi is so happy about. Nithila caused such a big loss and now she is trying to recover that. Lalitha says she will give ideas for increasing the revenue for company. Shanta says how we can tell this to my mother. He says Nithila was given position because of her education. Lalitha says she has done BCom and she at least can get manager post if not MD post.
Shanta is too much cornered and he is forced to say that he will speak to his mother and get a position for Lalitha immediately.

Nithila refuses the gift from Adhi and goes to her room followed by Selva who says he is also appreciative of what she has done and he wants to give a gift to her. Nithila switches to her anti Selva face immediately and says why you are troubling me like this --I have already told you that I don't ant any gift from you. Selva is not impressed by the talk and says this is a different gift and tells her that the gift will be given on 22nd. He asks her do you know what is the important thing on 22nd.
Nithila can't remember and Selva says that is the day when your father died and I am going to give thithi for your father on that day. Nithila is very emotional now and says she is always thinking of her father and how come I forgot about this date.

In Jeeva's house , the next scene shows jeeva,Thamira in a very affectionate manner feeding food to each other and playing carrom, games and enjoying etc. Natraj watches the scene and smiles--No dialogues here and I will say it was well directed to show the emotions without dialogues.!

Nithila getting ready to go to office and Selva says you have to come with me because the other car is not availabel and if you don't want to accompany me then you can take auto. She hesitates and finally comes out with him. She opens the back door of car and finds it full of papers . Selva says theseare the insurance papers for workers and these were delivered at home and hence I am taking them. Now Nithila has to sit in front and Selva drives now and Nithila is silent.
Selva takes a duifferent route and Nithila asks what route you are going. Selva says don't worry, I am not going to kidnap you.
They stop at a house and Selva asks her to come out. Nithila is puzzled.A vadhyar opens the door and Selva tells him that we want to have thithi of a person on 22nd and what arrangements need to be done. Nithila is stunned now.
Vadhyar asks the usual questions like how the death took place and says it has to be done by a male heir or direct relative like cousin etc. Nithila is shocked and does not know what to say. Selva now says he is the deceased son in law and whether he can do the thithi. Vadhyar says you are marumagan and hence fully eligible to do it.
He now goes inside to give him a list of things to be arranged for thithi.
Nithila looks at Selva very emotionally.
