I think Nithila I & Nithila II are the same. I am sure later in the show, when all goes well - Nithila would tell us how she overheard Adhi & knew all the bad things about her & how she felt very bad for her mother & how she thought she should nammbavaithu kazhuthu aruthufy Adhi in her own way etc...
There is no thrill in just bringing up another character who is a sister to Nithila at all. The suspense is us getting confused & then us finding out the whole truth. How many sisters are identical - I have heard about identical twins but not identical sisters.... So Adhan Kadhai....

your guesses are thoroughly interesting but i agree with flutepeace.... there are too many loopholes which i myself am confused abt but i have feeling that nithila 1 & nithila 2 are the same person... other than the coffee matter that selva mentioned to her that puts in confusion.. the rest flows...

or my thoughts is that nithila has split personality due to trauma perhaps? one side of her believes she should trusts her mum & get her released from jail & put aathi is jail for her father's murder plus she wears modernly with totally diff character.. whereas the original ones tends to distrusts her mum thus the way she behaves... how abt that... 😆

its either that or she's just acting out the 2 characters to find out the truth... i dun tink so she is the long lost sis of nithila 1.. 😛

Just like in Malargal, where Ramesh is James and James is Ramesh....
there's probably just one Nithila here as well.
(That still doesn't explain her goof-up of the coffee matter at Selva's office, though.)

If it is just one Nithila acting in two roles, maybe the sudden change in her character is because she probably overheard Aadhilakshmi talking to herself (while looking at the b/w childhood picture of Thamira with Aadhi)....about setting up Thamira in two murder cases.

If it is truly two different Nithilas...then I am as confused as anyone else.

I am sure Nithila 1 and 2 are different and the character have been created only to put a check on Adhi'a arrogance.

The 1st blow for Adhi will come when Nithila 2 will give a quote for the granite tender lower than ganapathy granites.

The more I think, the more I feel sure that Nithila 2 only came to Selva's office after doing some detective background work on selva's background.

So congrats to Spain for the original deduction 😊

But I will not agree with Spain when she says Nithila 2 was in Selva's house also.
I remember Nithila was not looking "like relieved" when selva left to talk with his brother. Instead she showed a very irritated face as if saying "good riddance" when selva left.

I also think both the Nithilas are same. I also think the same way as Flutepeace. Nithila over heard Aadhi and after that shock Anniyan Nithila#2 takes the stage on and off...
But the pictures show that our Nithi#2 is good PettaiRowdy... can't wait to her in full action...

Yes dasa...I think I got confused with Preethi's facial reactions in the morning bedroom scene.....
don't remember what exactly happened.

But didn't Nithila in the office repeat Shantha's words to Selva (regarding their conversation in the house that morning) about the tender quote issue. Didn't she say something like "did you give a quote as yet?" and he goes "yes we did it this morning." He gives her the file and there....she got what she was looking for in his office.

I'm wondering if it was Nithila II, how does she show up correctly at the right time, at the right spot to see that file? I thought it was Nithila II eavesdropping between the Shantha/ Selva conversation at home earlier that morning. Or else how would she know about the tender quote issue?
Was it really detective work?

I am thoroughly confused.
But this discussion is quite interesting as well.

Ah serial123, do you remember this same confusion came in "Ahalya" as well?
They brought in some big story about whether Kumaran and Kathir are two different people...
but finally the doctor will say that it was Kumaran who was brainwashed to be as Kathir (meaning, it was actually the same person)....or something like that.....
Maybe they're taking Bandham story the same way....
and confusing us all in the process.
