Bluegal and Dasa, this is suppose to be the anti-climax for the big suspense build-up...so we might as well sit back and enjoy these "delightful disappointments" 😡 for this last one week (i hope 😆 )

Atina, I agree with you. Where can you find a more idiotic husband than Sundara? Lucky Aadhi. She gets away with everything b'coz of her faithful and loyal hubby. Behind every successful Aadhi there must be a sweet Sundara standing behind! 😆

Ever noticed something else, Dasa...the characters who are suppose to speak up...don't speak up. And the characters who are suppose to shut up.....well, they just don't shut up! 😡

By the way Dasa, I am already looking forward to your brilliant updates for next week! 😃

Thank you Spain for all the encouraging comments!

And why you are referring to only sundara a idiotic? What about Shanta--he is equally scared of Adhi and behaves very stupidly!

And why Thamnira is not speaking up regarding why she came to Venky's house?? It si very strange really.

Oops...thanks dasa and bluegal, I keep forgetting about Shantha. Only his role is stupid, but as an actor he is versatile. If he had the chance to play the villain in Bandham, no one else can match up to his acting. Unfortunately, he is given the role of a guy scared of his mommy. They wasted such a good actor. But I think he is better than that other guy who he has replaced in the role of Shantha. The other guy was hopeless.

Let's look at it this way. If Atina can praise Preethi for her brilliant acting (and for irritating all of us 😡 in the process ), then we must appreciate the others for their equally talented acting as well. Sundara for playing the role of a stupid husband, Shantha for playing the role of a guy scared of his mother, Thamira for playing the role of a stupid innocent woman who digs her own grave....they are truly acting out their roles really well, according to the script, of course!

We must thank the scriptwriter 👏 , not the actors...for testing our patience.

I was just thinking....wouldn't it have been a wiser choice if the actors who played the roles of Shantha and Prabhakar exchanged their places with each other?

The guy who plays Shantha...he is truly a talented actor. His voice and body language would suit that of an intelligent lawyer. He would prove to be effective in his court scenes and dialogue delivery too.

The guy who plays Prabhakar....he is so lifeless. His voice and body language actually suits that of a person scared of his mother! 😆

They have mismatched the actors with their respective roles.
Hence, you see some good acting in stupid roles and you have some stupid acting in good roles as well.

Spain, you have a brilliant point really in advising such a switch of roles between Prabhakar and Shanta.

The actor doing Shanta's role is doing the police inspector job in Lakshmi serial and he is really doing it well.

Of course, I am referring to their roles only and not about their acting talent!

I don't watch Lakshmi.
But I have seen the guy who plays the role of Shantha as the evil calculative villain in Kalki serial.
He was truly brilliant in that role. He played older than his age. And he completely overshadowed everyone else who got meatier roles to play, including Khusbhoo who was the central character of that serial.
I wish they made better use of him in Bandham.

I don't watch many serials. In the few serials I have watched on and off, I remember Deepak playing the role of MLA Arasu in "Manaivi". He looked and really acted like a rude politician in that serial. 😃 So it was a good change to see him play a nice guy role in Bandham.

Similarly, the guy who plays the role of Shantha in Bandham...I have seen him act as a cold calculative villain in "Kalki". He really looked like an old man who could murder you with his eyes alone. To see such a guy say "Lalloo Kutty...." (to Lalitha) in Bandham is hilarious! 😆

But regardless of their roles in Bandham, Selva and Shantha can play the roles of a bad guy with equal ease as well.
