Popular GEC, Colors, is all set witness some programming changes in the coming days.

Wondering what that can be?

Well we hear that Rashmi Sharma's upcoming drama Shakti starring Vivian Dsena, Rubina Dilaik and Roshni Sahota is all set to replace Sphereorigin's Balika Vadhu.

A source shares, "The channel is keen on providing Shakti on a prime time slot, as they are pretty hopeful about the upcoming venture. Hence, they have decided to move Balika Vadhu to 6:30 pm slot, while Shakti will takeBalika Vadhu's time slot at 8 pm. On the other hand, the on-going project of 6:30 pm slot Ishq Ka Rang Safed (FilmFarm), we hear, will be shifted from its original airing time to 6 pm for the time being".

These programming changes will be implemented from 30 May.

Will watch Shakti for a couple of days and see how it goes.

I hope it will be as engrossing as original Balika vadhu was. Vivian is a great actor.

Dont care whether this new BV is shifted to 6.30 pm slot or dumped in garbage-bin.🤢

Alarmingly looks like the beginning of end .

How many viewers can watch at 630 ? I for one have to depend only on IF updates 😲

This leap and story line is knowingly inviting trouble for the show :(

Was reading a tweet from Gajra K where she has said if writers had an option they wouldn't have killed Shiv...now actually glad they killed both Anandi and Shiv rather than putting them thru this storyline

For some Balika Vadhu ended when the actress playing Anandi was replaced and for some the show ended when Shiv was killed off.

For me BV ended with the death of Anandi and exit of the creative team which gave us eight years worth of entertainment regardless of the tracks, the pace of the story and the direction the story took they used to come up with beautiful scenes which were so well written and beautifully executed and performed.

So for me the fate of this show which goes by the same name of the show which I love doesn't bother me much.

I'm so glad that the stories of Anandi and Dsa the two much loved characters didn't suffer this indignity.Actually i'm grateful to channel Rangeela that they bid Anandi and Dsa a farewell before junking Balika Vadhu into their waste bin namely evening slot.Just one step away from being axed.

I am glad they didn't shift Udaan to 6:30pm slot..

The show is doing well after Leap..

Balika Vadhu has lost steam despite the revamp

I haven't watched any show other than BV, so I dont know.😆 .. just keeping my fingers crossed that it will be worth watching and something to debate upon in this forum.

Does that mean they hurriedly put an to Anandi and every one in the show because they knew they were losing that 8 pm slot?

There was an article in IF long ago that BV was going off air and being replaced by Shakti... the news has come true now.

I think the shows before getting an axe are dumped into 6.30 pm slot... very sad for lamhe pyar ke cast who were in a delusion that they were a part of balika vadhu.😆

I am not surprised because i already knew it , it will happen😆 , the time slot will be changed because show is doing very poor for 8 Pm slot This is beginning towards end It always happens this way first time slot goes then show goes 😆When will this channel learn revamping the show by removing the main characters never works A story starts with some characters who are known as leads and is suppose to end on them

Anyways i dont care what happens with this show now because neither my favorite actorsnor characters are the part of the show The story , actors and characters of lamhe pyar k don't interest me at all so i don't care at what happens with this show now

I started watching this show for Shashank Vyas , because i adored him since his entry😳 , He was great as Jagya and i have fond memories of him as Jagya i was very happy when he quitted the show because i wanted him to do young roles of his young age instead of playing Bapusaa which is too early for him My attachment with the Jagya and Ganga's characters made me watch this show even when Shanks left and i am very happy finished off their story For me its a happy feeling they did not rudely kill them like Anandi . JaGan are together with their kids happily ever after .i will remain thankful to rangeela for this
