Through akheraj once again we are shown how people educated and uneducated people fall into the trap of fake babas and insult true religions. Because god cannot be seen, people started believing in the next availabele option, babas. They are like doctors prescribing placebos. This social evil will not go away as many politicans patronise these fake babas because it suits their intersts. Some of the fake babas are like akherajs threatning people andsome others are smooth talking and somewhat reasonable.

Social workers like anandi can fight them but they need some external support too. It is not an easy fight. The recent fight for entry of women devotees and courts supporting is an example. We need courts and willing governments to pursue these objectives. These social workers are always in groups and they never fight any battle alone. Anandi has inbuilt support system in the form of Shiv, Jagya and dadisa. They chip in whenever the need arises.

This Baba track had a lot of potential.
We find these fake spiritual guides in every religion and in every part of the world.

While we can't generalise and say that these self styled gurus babas are frauds but invariably most of these spirtual guides even if they start with good intentions they become corrupt along the way once they become well known and are patronised by wealth and power.

Religion is a refugee of rogues.Akheraj is an example for that.

A criminal like Akheraj becoming Baba is not unusual unrealistic at all. Unfortunately the story which was told that showed him from a common bully to aspirant of political power to criminal a fugitive to a baba had too many bloopers.Had they focused on the journey instead of making him commit crimes in front of the whole village then it would have been really good.

But they were just pre occupied with never ending nonsense of Mangala which is the reason for people being put off with the show. They spoilt every thing in their love to show this mentally deranged woman's version of love and to show this woman's manipulations they have to show Anandi helpless.
Other wise they can't justify dragging.

Anandi is meant for these kind of tracks not some never ending drama involving Mangala.

Good that they are giving Anandi a farewell which she deserves.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any lesson to be learnt out of any of BV's recent tracks. These are just showing some half baked stories that are lamely executed, which we audience may choose to watch based on our own interest.

While the broader concepts may be meaningful and may have a social message, but the way the track develops and gets executed, it is not comparable to real life situations / solutions. It's plain filmy.

Dhongi babas in general is a good concept but then the way it turns into Anandi vs village, hero giri and fights etc... it is plain filmy.

Not just this track but many other tracks for a while do not give any take home message. It's just drama for entertainment.

So don't think there are any lessons to be learnt from BV anymore.

It is kuch bhi, they are showing.

For me at least this gave insight into the psyche of people who come under the spell of Babas and Gurus.Never could understand why people follow these kind of babas instead of praying to God and act in good faith.

The other how thing I understood how these Gurus make use of the followers insecurities and fears to keep them under their spell. At times give them a placebo and at times disturb the peace of mind deliberately so that they keep turning to them.

As for unmasking Babaji it is done in dramatic manner but was unmasked in the right way by making the believers see with their own eyes how fake this man is.

His power came with the believing public that's what make politicians and establishment ineffective against him.

This is drama with main protagonist whose life story is being told and the antagonists came and went as per the topic they wanted to deal with. Ultimately it has to be protagonist vs antagonist.

Anandi had been standing up against these kind of people all her life whether things are smooth sailing or turbulent in her life.So am glad Anandi is dying exactly the same way she lived.

How one evil supports another evil! Fake baba supporting balvivah to get popularity among village folks.
And how one bad machli will spoil the entire lake. The villagers were fine with reforms until a baba descends and starts his magic on them. I am seeing minisaters and highly educated officials supporting fake babas and taking their sides and in front of them how can we criticise the villagers who are much more gullible? Even anandi and dadisa almost believed the fake baba while Jagya was skeptical. And that bhabhut which almost killed Nandini. Akheraj would have continued making millions if he he did not go into revenge mode. Akheraj represents the darkness of our times. The corrupt, the murderous and the masqueradors. The double game played by politicans. While posing as protectors of their faiths, they do all the evils because they think they can bribe even gods. What convoluted thinking! No doubt we are getting new babas every couple of months. What a lucrative profession!
And they are making genuine ones squirm with embarrassment.

Anandi did not believe about Manglaa's intentions inspite of dadisa, Jagya and anant hinted.

And how can we expect villagers who saw only something nice about him and his pravachans not believe him?

People like to believe what they see and only hard evidence can make them see the reality.
