Gehna. She resisted, she came back to her rapist, made necessary adjustments and lost what she was once. Fortunately her character ended but she turned into another typical bahu.

I never said Gauri was a lovely character, but I said she left a lasting impression on me.
All these characters are a creativity of makers, and based on the stories they give to each character; their character becomes praise-worthy or annoying. (Obviously credits to actors too for giving life to those characters)

Unfortunately, the story given to Anandi Shekhar is not appealing and is now becoming annoying.

Shiv was a character which was just created for one purpose. He was brought in to love Anandi the way she deserved and love her for what she is who she is and what she made of herself and what she gave up to be part of his life.
If Shiv put up with Anandi and all the baggage that she came with she too put up with the huge dysfunctional family that he came with.

They never felt that they are doing each other a great favour by accepting the unwanted baggage along with the desired things.

Anandi didn't have to put up with Sanchi's nonsense nor DB's viciousness or Ira 'irrational behaviour but she did because of her love for him and knew how much his family meant to him.Just like the way Shiv accepted her baggage from past.

Shiv's absence in Anandi's life is meant to be felt every time we see her and it is not meant to be forgotten.

Shiv is a character whose absence itself is a story in itself

So many characters disappeared but they are not missed but Shiv will be missed as long as Anandi is there in the show.

Hello everyone,

One year has passed since that sad day and we miss Shiv a lot. 😔 Most of us emotionally got attached to him even though he's only a character. Hats off to the man who sketched this unique character!! Watching Shivraj Shekhar was a pleasant experience. His interaction & dealing with other characters was really good in almost every scene.

All scenes right from his entry till the end are worth watching again. They never bore viewers.

Can't agree more.
His screen presence itself was assuring. Whenever he was on screen, there was a sense of assurance that things can't go wrong.

Yes, he had is share of weaknesses, but he stayed logical and stick to his principles even during weakest phases of his life. That is what made him different.

He took away all charm, feel good factor, happiness, and most importantly logic of BV along with him..

I would have loved to see a strong independent Anandi carrying over the legacy of AnSh from that point.. But alas, CVs are more interested in portraying the lead as abla nari and illogically stretching her and her kids miseries endlessly for TRPs.

No other wife would have accepted Sanchi and DB with open arms as additional baggage except Anandi.

We should not lose balance while estimating a character.

The thing is Shiv's charisma and his smile enchanted us.

They could not put any other inherent flaw in his character, probably that's why they attached the huge family with him 😆 who were again not someone very great, just common people with flaws. (DB character was complete unnecessary and unwanted, which was brought in just to have some story on that side of BV world in parallel with a track going on at Jaitser 👎🏼)

The same goes with Anandi... too much of 'Anandi's tears' are not fun either.

Characters like Bhairon, Gehna, Shyam, Shiv, Jagya and Gauri have left lasting impressions on me, because of the uniqueness in their characteristics and relativity of their day-to-day issues. But more than that, the fact their presence on the show was short-lived and ended positively, leaves a crisp taste and fond memories for me as a viewer.

Of course, these characters had their own share of flaws, but their flaws didn't outnumber their positive contributions.

Even J and DSa who were the most grey-shaded characters and who continue to be in the show, have also had a forward growing graph as far as their characterisation is concerned.

Anandi is the only one with a backward going graph, and never ending tears. Her goodness equating to dumbness is the reason behind her sorrows, and that's why too much of 'Anandi's tears' is bad.

------

All I can say, makers have given excellent characters like DS, Shiv, Bhairon, Jagya, Gehna, Shyam, Gauri. Lovely characters like Bhago, Ira, Sumitra and Meenu; and I thank them for that.

Minus, Mrs. ShivRaj Shekhar, every character has been worth it, including Anandi Singh.

Loved you Shiv

Could not have said it better!
Every person has some or the other flaws but if their flaws are ignored all the times and they are portrayed as some perfect ideal person then it becomes annoying!
That's what has gone wrong with Anandi! Anandi has her own good qualities and flaws but her flaws were never pointed out or dealt in the show!
Shiv learned from his experience! He accepted his flaws and tried to improve it! He, openly accepted that he was a fool to trust Rasika! To see good in her or comfort her!
Did we ever see such realization from Anandi's side? Did she ever openly accepted her mistake or tried to improve herself! She repeated her mistakes as if she has learned nothing from them!

One request, let this post not be used to criticize shiv and compare other characters with him.
At least we should spare the dead character.

It started with anandi being criticised. One thing led to the other. Both anandi and Shiv may feel sad about this.

Just go through the posts from the beginning.

jagya's amnesia drama or Anandi's unnecessary service of Jagya 😆because Jagya did not create as many problems for shiv in his amnesia drama how much Anandi suffocated him with her seva of Jagya and at same crying rivers in front of shiv too how much majboor she is ?🥱i still don't understand her majboori there
