Name of the show is Balika Vadhu and not Anandi.
Had the show been titled as Anandi it would have been fine to show Anandi's journey as a widow and as a single mother.

Now Anandi is no more a Balika Vadhu. They needed another Balika Vadhu to stay true to their theme.
If Anandi rehabilitating some random girl who is a Balika Vadhu it would not be so interesting to watch simply because she has done all that so many times before.

So they decided to club Anandi the mother and Anandi the social activists who works against child marriages and rehabilitates child brides and made Anandi's child a Balika Vadhu.
Anandi's child cannot become a Balika Vadhu under normal circumstances no matter how difficult things are. It can happen only through a really bizzare twist of events so it happened.
Somebody took pity on a kidnapped baby and made her into a Balika Vadhu and filled her mind with all kinds of regressive beliefs and ideas which are difficult to get rid of because those thoughts and ideology has come from a woman who loved the child and whom the child trusts a lot.

So Anandi's vocation and parenting was combined.

Through Sasural Nandini ka they showed a lot of new issues which they haven't taken up till now.Discrimination against girl child gender inequality domestic violence sexual abuse caste conflicts honour killings and what not.

The main connect between the two stories is Anandi and her daughter. They knew that if they showed some random girl child going through all this it won't connect with the viewers so they made Anandi's child a victim and showed that part of the story through her eyes.

The story became way too big to be told so in order to focus on those topics they have restricted Anandi's story till the time she found her daughter.

If people like to believe that Anandi didn't care enough for her daughter and that's why she didn't find her daughter inspite of watching the character Anandi then nothing can be said.
A woman who didn't her ex husband's education to suffer even after the way he treated her and ensured that he got financial assistance would she not care for her daughter?

Shivam keeps saying how much he wants to be like his father all the time. Form whom and where did he learn about his father? Obviously from his mother he can see his father only through the eyes of his mother. That boy rushes to his mother and totally dependent on her inspite being surrounded by Singhs whom he loves very much.It is quite clear that for him his mother is both mother as well as father.

If people think that an educated woman runs an organisation doesn't know how to manage her finances nothing can be said either.

A woman who runs an organisation with no help from anyone raises her son who looks upto her for every need of his and is actually doing well at school and assured of a bright future and still consider this woman a failure there is no point in engaging in any discussion.

The dreamy romantic in me would like to see Anandi content with the memories of her times spent with Shiv bringing up her children and dedicating her life to the causes that she believes in and works for them till the end of her days.

It the show is all to do with balika vadhu and thats why it was necessary for Nandini to become a BV, then what exact message are we getting here?

That Nandini is a BV whose mother fights against bal vivah through her bal sasural?

While bal vivah is bad for Nandini, it is good for Anandi because it is her bal sasural where she lives and breathes. It is through her bal saursal that she got Shiv and a beautiful new life, but since Shiv is a rishta of her pakki umar, his rishta became kaccha after her died, while rishta with jagya and Dsa became even more pakka since they were rishtey of kachi umar???

Please, let's not justify CVs and their blunders so much.

It was well advertised through promos, that Anandi will be thrown into challenges post Shiv's death and will she handle it? Even though the title of the show is Balika Vadhu , the promos were clearly indicative that this will be a story of a widowed Anandi / single mother and its associated challenges

Since CVs didnt show us what they promised we are questioning it.

I don't understand one thing - if the name of serial is balika vadhu - does that mean that they should remain glued to balika vadhus only - no matter how unreasonable the story becomes? And as soon as Anandi turned major - she was no longer bv. Then why did they continue to show Anandi's journey?

And haven't we always had debates on how this story is all about Anandi's journey of life?
Haven't we been given proofs that how Anandi is always on the montage to make it prominent that it is her journey.

Then suddenly now, how does it move to being a story of Balika Vadhu (as per the title) and not a journey of Anandi?

Obviously they are looking at the prospect of gen next story.
There is no way the child of Anandi can become a BV if she is under the care of Anandi even if she stayed back in India on her own.
Will Anandi do child marriage of her daughter even if the child's life is at risk?No way.

Story is still that of Anandi and her children. We did she one child growing up under her care and having a safe secure life with a bright future whilet her lost child is subjected to all kinds of hardships and she finally got her child back alive but is the child in one piece?

The child is subjected to child marriage simply because the theme is that along with empowerment of women /girls from rural society.

How would a social activist who worked against child marriage feel if her daughter has become a victim of the same evil custom she fights against?
That too it happened when she was trying to rescue a girl from becoming a child bride?
This people can argue again and again the fact is that Anandi was there at the place to stop a child marriage.Whether she was foolish selfish impractical what ever people want to believe it's not going to change the fact that Anandi was helping another person when her daughterwas abducted

Challenges before her as a social activist reform a child bride and probably through her bring about a change in the mind sets of Jhalra women.

As a mother earn her daughter's trust heal the wounds that the years of maltreatment had caused.

Bring up her twins with the help of modern day Valmiki Dsa give them the same values which she and her husband have.

All this is the main story which is interspersed with Ex BalakVar Jagya's family story along with the story of current Balak Var and his family.

One question.
Did Anandi get all that she got from Singhs before her child marriage took away everything from her or after the marriage broke and she ended up as a destitute uneducated with no means of supporting herself?

All the good life and help she got from Singhs is because of the Singhs goodness or it because of child marriage?

Child marriage took away everything but Singhs who are good people took responbilty for the destruction and compensated for the losses.

Child marriage took away her rights adultery of her husband left her destitute.

Just because she stayed with Singhs post the break up of her marriage does not alter the fact that her life was ruined by the tradition which her parents and Singhs practiced.

Even BV writers don't know what is the main story. Otherwise, we could get a better storyline.
And Anandi did get everything from her bal sasural. Singhs became her relatives due to bal vivah only. Singhs didn't give her everything because they are some great philanthropists who would have given these things to any random girl. Just like they are giving everything to Nimboli now (Anandi still depends on Singhs).

Esha and Puja bang on point. Another thing which I really disliked is giving ideas of kidnapping for a child marriage. Those who never thought of it will think so. Otherwise kidnapping and the child marriage happening is so off reality. Why could not the sensible tracks be shown.

Also as title suggests balika vadhu, it is a story of a woman who was a child bride, and how she tackles each of the things through her journey. That is how I would interpret it.
