How is that possible now? Or you mean the new fake mother's husband?

Yes.
Why does she not think that there is also a father who may or may not be knowing what had happened.

There is unnatural emphasis on mother while the father is relegated to the background. Feminism is ok but not to this extent.

What makes you think that the extreme unnatural focus on only the mother is feminism? Feminism is an entirely different thing. Let us please not compare feminism with the utter load of horse crap shown in the mindless factory of bullshit called BV. Feminism is about gender equality and striving for equal rights for women. It's not about one sex's superiority or dominance over the other. Upholding the mother's dominance and establishing maternal superiority over the father and making fathers look like useless pawns existing for the sole purpose of procreation is NOT feminism. Fathers hold a very important part in a child's upbringing. Sociological research studies prove that.
BV's sole aim is to glorify Anandi, let's just accept the fact that this is an Indian daily soap which runs on illogical plots. No use bringing real issues in here.

In fact I might just add that this show is against everything that feminism stands for. This is show is an anti-feminism show. Doormat lead character who clinges on to ex husband's family for everything and an empowered woman who stands for feminism are two contrasting personalities standing at the two extreme ends of a spectrum.

I think its high time Cvs changed the track.
By now we know that Mangala is evil, Anandi is certified dumb and Nimboli pinnes only for her mother and not father. What next?

She grew up in a house where men or outnumbered by women and the men she has seen are not really shining examples. So she doesn't really care about men.
Only now after coming to BH she has seen male members of a family treating her like an equal and still they are unreal to her.

Besides the family in which she grew up is really dysfunctional. The only things that were evident to her was Akherajs's indifference to his daughter and love for his son Harki's efforts to give her best to both her children.

She has seen Urmi's father being nice to his daughter and she has not seen much of him.

She cannot as of now relate to a person called father. Why only father? She just doesn't have a concept about what family is all about.

Nimboli was so pleased at seeing the pic of Shivam's father. She adored him so much in the pic even without knowing whether he was a good or bad man. This instant liking for Shiv proves that Nimboli, in her subconscious mind, does think that there are men who could be loving fathers.

Besides that she obviously saw Jagya. Mannu Abhi and Shivam are nice boys unlike Kundan.

Urmi's father was a nice man and so was Pushkar's father.

Except for Akhiraj, all the men Nimboli came across are nice fathers. So Why wouldn't she want to know who her father is? Why doesn't she ever wonder that if her mother threw her in a bin, why didn't her father stop her mother from doing so?

She was charmed by the man in that picture.Had she met Shiv in person she would have wished for a father like him. There is no doubt about it.
Mangala put fear in her mind saying that her father could be someone like Akheraj even if her mother had thrown her in garbage bin.
That put her off for asking for her mother for a while. This happened after that Chhat pooja.
It's not that she doesn't want to know about father but it is the fear that he could be someone like Akheraj has put her off from looking for her father for now.
Anger against her unknown mother and fear of unknown father is now keeping her away from her family.

Before she came to live in BH she hated the very idea of meeting her mother.
But after spending time with Anandi and saw Shivam's mother she hoped that her mother would be someone like CC.

Unfortunately she has not spent much time with Shivam had she spent more time with Shivam she would definitely like to be his sister to a brother like Shivam and would probably wish for a father like Shivam's after listening to what Shivam says about his father whom he had seen only through his mother's eyes.

Maa kabhi buri nahin hoti, says Chakor to Nimboli. Wrong. Harki turned against Kamli rather viciously. And Akheraj would not have been that cruel if Kamli listened to him without questioning him.

Mothers may not be bad in essence but they could be like Bhabho sending away a small daughter who came to her crying. They can be like Gauri who manipulated even her child's death to take revenge on Anandi. They can be careless like Anandi. They can be possessive like Mangala. They can be cruel like dadisa towards Bhairon.

I remember how Shivam brought two bags full of toys for his yet to be born twins.. How he used to play with Amol. It would have been nice if she pined for both father and mother.

I don't think Nandini needed to see a Live Shiv to feel a need for a father. Jagya, Jatashankar, Urmi's dad were all examples of loving fathers in different societies.

Nimboli pinning for her mother and not father is unrealistic.

If she has seen bad parents in Harki n Akhiraj, she has seen good parents in Anandi Ganga Jagya and others.

So with all her understanding of good parents and mean parents, if she was ready to give a chance to her mother who abandoned her, why not a wish to see her father?
