Doesn't she feel ashamed in front of everyone wearing those ghaghra thing... and then smiling also? At least this manu is regretting in front of his parents though. I think this girl want to play bindini bindini in this age. Manu's parents didn't scold him because somewhere they felt they are also at fault in handling manu. But tomorrow if Pooja's mother would not give her 4-5 tight slaps then I will assume that She didn't give right upbringing to this girl. I mean she should ask what wrong her mother did to her that made her to elope with a boy.

Agree wth you.. even I found pooja extremely shameless. She should have felt ashamed to meet anandi's eyes... but she was sitting next to mannu as if she is his legal wife and as if she did a great favor to BH people by bringing him back.😡

I think people feel shame when they feel guilty. Pooja is not feeling guilty. So she is not feeling shame.

Mannu is not feeling guilty that he married Pooja. He is feeling guilty because he misunderstood his mother, Jagya and dadisa.

Both Mannu and Pooja are not regretting their decision to get married and start their life as husband and wife.

Yes, both Mannu and Pooja are not feeling guilty about the marriage and believe that the parents have to accept their marriage. Mannu went to Sarita to apologise the elopement and not about marriage.
Pooja's behaviour is strange - because she has known child marriage is wrong and she was living in an institution which is supposed to be helping the child brides and is supposed to be working against bal-vivah. She knew how Aanandi saved her from bal-vivah. Still she is not feeling guilty to face Aanandi, Bh people and Sarita. She was smiling all through Mannu's mafi session and I almost expected that she will go and touch feet of her sasra wale😆 to get their blessings.

I don't think Pooja wanted Mannu to run away from home in the first place. She didn't like the rift between Mannu and his parents widening.
Also I think she was relieved to be back home with the family.
She was a bit scared about future too. Saw how Mannu had to leave school and join work and then she saw him falling into bad company. All this made her feel worried about future.

Mannu and she convinced themselves that their marriage is not wrong. I think the implications of this marriage will hit them slowly.

Right now Mannu realised that he was wrong to behave the way he did with his parents Pooja is happy and relieved to be back with the family and to the family the implications of this marriage have not yet sunk in.

Pooja is not guilty in this running away and her being relieved after seeing Mannu realised his mistake is understandable. But implication of marriage not obvious for a girl who is living in an institution which is supposed to be against child marriage and after knowing her own history and the reason she lives alone with her mother - how come marriage part has not sunk in? Mannu may not know that much about child marriage - but Pooja not feeling guilty about their marriage is strange.

It apparently hasn't sunk into her head yet. I guess it will hit her soon.
While she was with Mannu she was convinced by Mannu that their marriage is not wrong and now she is back with her mother and SN she will realise it is wrong.

Had she been the strong type of girl she would have bullied Mannu into going back home long time back.

Her emotions seem to rule her rather than her sense of what is right and what is wrong

Pooja should have felt guilty as soon as she saw Anandi - at Bimala's place itself. She knows what Anandi does and what Anandi lost due to Pooja.

agree wid u. pooja is neither guilty 4 running away nor shes guilty of mrg while mannu is feeling guilty abt running away from the home & MU his parents but not of mrg oderwise he wudn't'd said 2 P that we"ll cum back 2gether or i"ll take u back 2marrow from here & P din't instantly'd agreed if she was guilty of mrg.and its really strange bcoz she was/is thinking this is not BV as its done by their consent.
and not just at bimla's place but wen her mom was saying 2 Aji that mmany yrs ago u saved her life from getting ruined, she shud feel ashamed & guilty but its not like that.

I am not sure why Pooja should feel guilty. She entered into the whole thing with her eyes open as did Mannu.

Why should Pooja feel indebted to Anandi for saving her. She did not ask to be saved. Her mother did. And her mother is fairly indebted to Anandi.

Anandi went to do something right for somebody but lost personally.

When Anandi saved Pooja, Anandi followed her conscience and her heart. This does not mean that Anandi owns Pooja's life, thoughts and actions for life. Nor does she hold Pooja responsible for Nandini's abduction. Else she should really hate Pooja.

When Pooja ran away with Mannu and married him, she too followed her conscience and her heart.

Pooja did something for herself without thinking of anybody. As did Mannu. Others will suffer naturally but these two will not go scot free. There will be repercussions.

Nimboli eating jalebi in spite of knowing she should not and Pooja running away and marrying Mannu in spite of knowing she should not are both immature and childish acts in the heat of the moment.

Nimboli got punished by Harki. Pooja too will be punished by life. Both will live and learn. One will pay a higher price for her transgressions.
