Glad that we can appreciate AnSh kids.

Nandini was absorbing everything that was happening around her. She probably realised that she has nothing to threaten Akhi with, unlike Urmi.😊

Wonder how this realisation will affect her.

I see Nandini and Urmi becoming great friends soon ganging up against the men in the house.

True Nandini has only herself to rely on. No Bapusa or Maa whose names he can use to scare Akhi.

Urmi is shut in store room by Harki. She is petrified of darkness and rats. Kundan peeps through skylight, tells her he will try and help her. He pleads to Akhi for her release. Akhi agrees but tells him that if he lets her out he too will become a party in his humiliation by Urmi. Kundan leaves. Is going to his room. Is stopped by Nimboli. She tells him to release Urmi. He scolds her badly, goes to his room.

Next what comes is a masterpiece in direction and writing.

Scene between Urmi and Nimboli/Nandini.

She consoles Urmi. Gives her water. Tells her not to be scared and that she will sleep outside her door the whole night. Urmi can talk to her at any time.

Both spend a lot of time talking. Urmi confesses her prank early in the day. Nimboli finds it funny and asks for the mask to scare people at school.

Says that studies make her yawn😆. Urmi says she threw it away out of fear.

Sometime later both sleep. Next morning Nimboli awakens and wakes up Urmi. Urmi thanks her and kisses her hand in gratitude. Nimboli is thoroughly overcome with emotions at having won over Urmi's love.

She tells Urmi not to tell anyone that she slept outside the door.

The Akhiraj family story is straight out of "a thousand splendid suns".

Especially the relationship between Urmi and Nimboli. Akhiraj and Kundan together are the manifestation of the husband who could be both evil and kind.

Today Nimboli/Nandini with her selfless actions won over the heart of another human being.

She was just being herself. Empathy towards another human being.

She is a kid, but these qualities are handed down in her genes. She understood Urmi's fear and disregarding any punishment she would get if found out, she stood stoicly by the side of what she felt was right.👏
