Yup, DB brought in to bring out the demons and negative shades and depths of character in the Shekhar family members.

They were a tepid lot, with set characterisation, happy in their own little worlds. They were well adjusted with each other and had each carved out a role for themselves in that household.

First Anandi, then Anoop and finally DB.

Suddenly equations changed and readjustments had to be made.

Luckily for Anandi and Shiv, Shiv had stayed away most of his adult life. Therefore when they shifted into KB, it was as a single unit. And both were treated at par. There was no real tussle by the moms for Shiv's time or attention.

But to ensure that no saas bahu dramas materialise, Anandi came up with a masterstroke and exposed Meenu's sacrifice. This destabilised Ira. Now both Moms were neutralised and neither could claim to have more right on Shiv.

Anandi thus cemented her position as the only woman in Shiv's life⭐️

Anandi never was a strategist , she unearthed the secret about her sasuma's in her quest to know the truth herself, not for any advantage for herself.

Since her childhood days , she was always curious to know the truth so she can not stop herself when she get to know that something was amiss , not matching from the stated facts about Shiv's birth .

Nothing to do with destabilizing her sasu moms.Ab it benefited her toh what she can do ? 😉😆

Sometimes i think they way they started and ended their love story audience will always remember them as most loved couple, firstly becoz they were so awesome and secondly they will hate cvs for giving such fate

Just imagine if they would have shown them and the way story line is going may be charm of their love may have faded slowly

But in this way we will always remember those beautiful moments which cvs have given enough,

In this context two stars comes in my mind one is hollywood star and the other one is from bengali cinema, first one we all knw , second one dont knw how many people know, she is suchitra sen, she took retirement from bengali cinema when she was in peak of her career, she was so so beautiful, once she retired till her death except her family no one could see her, media tried so many times but no one could see how she looked in her later age,

Only that beautiful face is there in our memory. There is always mystry surrounding this

Same way ansh will be always remembered like that instead spoiling their love story in a hapazard way

For us their story has ended and they are happy with their ansh, amol, shivam and nandini

Love them

I think they have realized a bit after killing shiv and seeing the audience reaction and that is the reason even after shiv is gone they are advertizing their love story.

Actually after reflecting over the past two days episodes I came to this conclusion:

Anandi did not want DB in the house. In fact she did not care whether or not DB was in the house. DB and her antics had ceased to be of any consequence to her. Both she and her son had become DB proof and made it amply clear to DB. Even her twins were never left in her care. They were mostly with Daddu when not with Anandi.

In fact DB had ceased to be an important factor in anybody's life in KB, except Anoop. Nobody bothered about her barbs, sharp or snide comments. She was an irritating blood relative they had learnt to ignore. Such people exist and do such things just to increase their importance and fail miserably.

After Anoop realised the error of his ways, her control over him vanished. Now had she continued to live in KB, she would have been no more than a piece of extra furniture. But one who would have tried to look for and exploit weaknesses in others with an idea to exert authority over them, so long as she was sure that Daddu would never throw her out.

As for as Anandi forgiving DB:

In fact Anandi in so many words had said a couple of times that she would never forgive DB for that drug drama. And she never did. Yesterday it was DB who said to Anandi that "You havent said it but I know you have forgiven me". Anandi at no point agreed. She did not say anything. She did not need to.

Anandi's feelings, love and care in KB were mainly for Daddu. He was the one person in that house she did not wish to see hurt in any way whatsoever. Both Shiv and she were shown to be closest to Daddu. Daddu was not a strong person. He liked living a peaceful life and hated tensions. He had never imposed rules on his family or stopped them from leading their lives in their own way. Therefore he did not expect situations of backstabbing, evilness in his house. And he could not deal with them.

When Anandi asked Daddu whether he could forgive DB and reconsider his decision, it was not out of her own forgiving nature. She never forgave DB. She just wanted Daddu to make sure that he would never regret his decision. She wanted to ensure that Daddu's decision was not taken in the heat of the moment following Anoop's and Anandi's revealations about DB's machinations. She wanted to make sure that Daddu would not indulge in self blame, wallow in self-pity and in a moment of weakness bring her back.

Once Daddu ensured her that he had weighed all pros and cons, that this decision was well thought out and that in his own mind there was no turning back she let go. There was no pleading or pressurising from her part. The ultimate decision had to be Daddu's free from any pressure and with all evidence in front of him.

Anandi wanted Daddu to take this decision with a clear conscience and mind. He had to be responsible for his own decisions and she achieved her objective⭐️.

Long live Anandi🥳

Had wanted to add a little something but was waiting for exactly your type of reaction 😉.

No, Anandi was not a strategist. So when she unearthed the truth, she should have kept quiet. Why unstabilise the house.

But then she thought😃. She thought that most DIL's have one MIL and that becomes so difficult to handle. Perpetual tension and tiffs for the son's attention. She had seen lots of saas-bahu dramas you see.😉 She had two two MILs.

But here was an opportunity of pitting one MIL against the other. They will remain in perpetual state of stand-off and will keep an eye on each other to ensure that neither exercises more right over Shiv, they will trip over each other to look after Anandi so that they are always in Shiv's good books. Meanwhile she and Shiv will live a blissful and peaceful life free of all interference 😈

Loved it

Wish cvs could give us the insight of anandis thought , what she does, why she does

Instead leave on viewers imagination and she gets bashed

Actually except for that pathetic speech during felicitation which is more of a writer's lack of imagination than anything else - Anandi did come across quite well.

She made it clear to Dsa that KB is her home

She told Daddu that Shiv's wish was that family live happily under one roof but left Daddu to make the decision

When Daddu decided to move along with Anop she was very sure that she wanted her kids to grow up under Daddu's care.

She chose Daddu over Anop or Alok just like Shiv would have wanted.Both Shiv and Anandi are closest to Daddu.

They let go of DB because of Daddu and now it is Daddu's turn to throw his sister out for the sake of Anandi and Shiv

What DB said or her actions did not matter to Anandi at all - these is total indifference from Anandi towards DB.

Her asking Daddu if there is a chance that he will change his mind must be because of two reasons - One like Artee said she wanted Daddu to make up his mind and also out of her own compassion for a pathetic creature like DB and her pathetic state of life.

If she could care for J and Dsa what is so surprising if she showed a bit of compassion for this lady?

Having said that I would not want Anandi to bring DB back into the lives of her and Amol although if she wants to help the lady it is fine.

Aparna, Arti - great discussion. Reading posts on AnSh AT elevates me to a different much more interesting world of Anandi 😊. Your analysis has a rich depth, I don't think the writer could have done such groundwork before penning these scenes. Its a pleasure reading your posts.

Ashima - I just saw your VM, its wonderful. You have taken pains to retain some brief dialogues by Anandi and shiv, seems so nostalgic. I am hearing this song for the first time, its nice, slow and soothing.
